@@cadenceuk Thanks for that. I have driven the road when there has been floodwater on it, but it was not this deep. The Evenlode was also very high, but unlike 2007 it didn't overtop the bridge in Charlbury, but it did get up to the top of the arches. However, another day of that rain and it would have been true devastation. I also find it incongruous that something called Bert could cause all this. Bert is the name of an old man sipping a pint down the local pub. It ought be have been called something more fitting, like Beelzebub.

Ironically that road is called "Dry Lane". I'm hoping the flood water has subsided as I want to do that route later today...
