Hello. Does it need a specific program or application to work? Write to me how to install it on the computer, whether with the application or without it. I am from Iraq
We recommend that our client connect the microphone with USB port. I think what you're going to plan to do with this setup is to use a smartphone as external speaker. If so, it would be better to have a portable amplifier instead. Even the T669 can be connected to smartphone via USB adapter, but there's no way for smartphone to play through the input at the same time.
Hi Adrian, as Mr Z recommended, for Windows users, Audacity is the best free recording software to start with while on Mac, it's Garageband. Just make sure the mic is default inpu on both computer system and software sound setting, then you're good to go.
T669 is the Plug & Play USB Condenser microphone. If you want the recording software, you could just use the recording software that comes with computer, like the soundrecorder on Windows and QuickTime Player on Mac. Also you could download a more powerful recording software, like Audacity, which is free online and it can modify and edit recording sounds.
Hi there, it should not have any problem of handling loud sound, as most of the microphone does. Since almost all of the human voice cant even reach the Max SPL of a modern microphone. But you definitely would like to pay more attention to level setting when you had to speak in a loud voice, and you can turn the slightly off-axis to avoid air blowing or tricky level re-adjustment.
PS5 hasn't been launched, we're not sure about that. But what we can confirm is that It works with PS4 console, not with XBox. And if you want to use it with headset together on PS4, you may need to do some trick. Because if you plug the headset into controller, PS4 input and output will change to controller automatically. Then you will need a 3.5mm female to two 3.5mm males adapter adapter to split the microphone feature from headset or simply use the earbuds.
I need help. I got this for Christmas and I wasn't planning on using it with my computer. I want to do ASMR TH-cam & TikToks, but it picks up so much background noise. What am I doing wrong? I'm plugged up to my phone. Is that a problem?
Hi Anubhav, we're sorry that you may get the wrong mic. You have to look for another one with low-latency monitoring, such as K670 or K678. Without such feature, there will be inevitable delay of the playback audio, because you have rely on computer sound card to do audio transmission and convertion.
Hi there, sorry for catching sight of your comment late. Besides running test on Zoom audio test, the best practice is to record a piece of audio on Audacity and adjust the setting of dial and ocmputer input as well as speaking range from there. This software has more precise meters to see if the audio is fine.
So I've been thinking about getting a mic, need it mostly for conferencing as my room has a bad echo, do you know how good it's echo cancellation/sound isolation is?
@@mrzsmusiclessons thought about sound panels though i wonder if that would deaden or improve the piano sound (which is also in the room). What about a dynamic mic? A quick google search presented that as something to look at
@@mrzsmusiclessons I'm going to try some stuff on the walls first and see if I cant get the echo down! Not sure I can handle the radio style thing of having a mic always so close to your head
Hi Chris, as Alan pointed out, we're afraid that not just this condenser mic but even a dynamic mic won't work well in such environment. If changing to another room doesn't sound plausible, you may need to decorate your room with some absorption or diffusion material.
@@sneppy5735 Yes, plug and play on PS4 controller. But if you want to use it with 3.5mm headset at the same time, you will need a 3.5mm Female to 2 Male adapter to split the microphone feature from headset or simply use the earbuds that has two loops on its connector. Um, the mic test, if it's the raw audio you hear on TH-cam, it should sound better in reality. Because the upload process compresses the audio and video quality a little bit. So if you think the sound quality of this T669 is not bad, then you could have higher expectation when you actually get your hands on the mic!
Hey, when I connect this microphone to my laptop then I cannot hear my own voice without using earphones. How can I'll be able to hear my own voice while recording? Plus, when I tried to record in Audacity, then also my vocals are not enhanced, it sounds same like normal recording quality.
Unfortunately, if you plug the headphone into the computer, you will get the noticable delay in hearing, which is caused by analog-to-digital conversion. If you want to get the zero-latency in hearing, we recommend you purchase the microphone with the 3.5mm headphone jack. And the Audacity will not enhance your voice automatically, you have to use it to do the post-production for the recorded file, such as noise reduction, EQ and compression. But if you set the mic volume and computer input at a decent level and keep talking to the mic at around 5 inches, then you almost get the best raw quality alredy.

Maono AU-A04 is best for recording in your home in noisy environment (but not heavy noices). It gives a very good noise cancellation than Fifine T669 . Fifine need a studio environment for recording. Only thing you had to do with Maono is some post processing to your voice recording. It is crystal clear. I am using Maono AU-A04 for home song studio recording with Karaoke. Keep its original setting and do the recording thereafter do post audio processing with Audacity etc. It is best.
We have made a thorough comparison with Maono AU-A04. If we're honest, Maono does a nice job on the mid (to slight low) end. But it may sound muffle sometimes. So if you're clairty-perferred, T669 is a better choice. And since it's the upgraded from K669B, it will also have more bass presentating in your recording. It's mainly about the tone difference. Apart from that, then it would be the customer support, lol. We would pretty proud of ourselves on this part.
We recommend using the microphone only with Windows and Mac computers. If you want to use it with a smartphone and tablet, you will need a suitable adapter and it may not work.
Good question. The T669 gets the accessories to have the better sound. But it's not always the higher-priced one is better, and it's all down to your application. For vocal or instrument, the T669 still do the job, though may not fit in perfectly. Now there is an updated model K670 equipped with the low-latency headphone jack, and you can easily hear yourself in real time when recording. Besides, the K670 has lower noise level and get warmer but still the same clear sound.
Unfortunately, T669 is not equipped with the headphone jack. if you plug the headphone into the computer, you will get the noticeable delay in hearing, which is caused by analog-to-digital conversion. If you want to get the zero-latency in hearing, you need to purchase K670/K678/K690
