If you want a 22x14 with most tire sizes to not have “stretch” would be close to like 40”. That only requires 10” of lift... to get that a little more practical fury has that 33x14.50 which is better but still has stretch on a 14 wide. If there was an option for wider I would do use it but most tires don’t get close.

I think there is a benefit to stretched tires for a particular group. I have a 4” lift on my tahoe with -4” drop in the back. Ik I’m autistic so leave me alone. But I’m putting 24x14 Arkon wheels with 33x12.50r24 mud tires on them. If I were to put 33x14.50r24 fury tires on them I’d have unbearable rubbing issues where as with a 12.50 tire where its stretched, the impact of the tire on where ever it will rub will be much less than a 14.50. Ik I’ll still have rubbing but if you ain’t rubbin you ain’t thuggin. That’s just the reason I’m going to be running stretched tires.

Only reason my daily is on legitimately stretched a/Ts was because I had someone slash my tires “people called him daddies money bandit “ purely cause I drove a truck on 20x12-54s and was running NT420Vs , and I found the 275s for $200 for the entire setup on fb , I hate it , the way it looks the way it rides and I smacked a curb day 3 of the tires and bent a wheel , HOWEVER, I’m building a drift project where the small tire and stretch sidewalls help with flex and making a fairly narrow track pad , thus reducing things like wheel and axle hop , giving me that JDM stance boi look and not stuffing a 305 under a drift build and having more tire than I can slide

I personally stretch them because I like being leveled so it’s lower to the ground with a super wide stance. So I ran 33’s 12.50 on 24/14 and still have almost full turn. With 33-13.50 I would not be able to turn at all without lifting . That’s my reason.

Hey Custom Offsets, Could you guys please start doing videos showcasing "Your" ARKON brand wheels? You guys always showcase other companies, But for some reason im not seeing any in depth videos on the Cleopatra 22x12 in chrome or any of the others in chrome in a 22x12 or 24". And maybe show them on the new badass Federal Xplora MTS in a 35" or 37" tire when you get them? Thanks

The reason I have small profile tires is literally all performance reason. They aren’t stretched and have decent side wall still low profile there 12” wide tire on 10” wide wheels 32” tall tire on a 20” wheel there’s less side wall flex on turns there cheaper 1/3 the price of 35s M/T last longer much higher speed rating and very sticky for a drag racing but still good in rainy conditions better fuel economy quieter and still decent ride, And you would be surprised the places I can get with those street tires out in the desert. there toyo proxies on moto metals it’s no Princess it’s gets shit done one moment it’s drag racing the next it’s towing 8,000lbs

Guys in hawaii been stretching tires since ever since. 35x12.5 boggers on 15x14 welds was standard in the 90s and early 2000s. Personally, I've always thought they were ugly and impractical but not my truck not my business...

Oversizing looks better. Buddy of mine has a '96 Dakota that got swapped to a 5.9L has cragars and hes running 295/50/15 Coopers in the rear and it gives the truck a beefy setup. forged, deep dish, and tire stretching should stick to the car community no offense if its your style it just seems to be less of a waste of money but more waste of a truck because it removes a lot of functionality but then again that's also 1/2 the car community lol. keep doin you @ everyone, might not be other peoples styles but shit they come out looking mean asf
