seems to have worked out well personally I would have left the frame longer and V ED IT in and added a cross brace but for a trailer it works good either way
I considered doing it that way at first, I decided to leave more frame under the cab because that way it was less likely that I would damage the cab later during transport/storage.

Does your out door vice require a lot of maintenance, or do you just lube it up every now and then?🙃
I did take it apart to repair it once and also lube, generally not a problem having it outside.
