@@computergeeksrepair was the lcd from lenovo? im also buying a lcd and i was looking for a cheaper one since the lcd from lenovo is expensive, also ive heard that lenovo has some whitelisted/specific lcd, means if the lcd is not on the whitelist the brightness wont work (stuck in one specific brightness level) is that the case? any recommendations? My laptop is lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15IHU6
@monopinion9731 then, open the bottom cover, disconnect the battery cable, remove the screen unit completely. It will be much easier to put it back on. Good luck.
Pls do not refer to this video if you want to dissemble the hinge cover! This is a misleading tutorial! My hinge cover is now broken! The proper way to take off the hinge cover is by sliding the cover, not prying it! I am so regret after watching this video. Very disappointed

It turns out that some plastic from the hinge cover broke, and after refering to this misleading video, more plastic broke and the hinge cover become loose now. I hope you don't break yours.

Not sure for every model but 15ACH6 can work on 165 Hz screen. There is 165 Hz version of that model.

Pull and peel double sided tape is the best but still any types of tape will be ok.
