- Nims has spent his life making the impossible, possible. His doc '14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible' has been released on Netflix, a documentary following Nims as he takes on the quest to summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in just seven months.
Nims had a dream to become a Ghurka like his fathers and brothers before him.
He made that dream a reality when he was 18. Six years later he became the first-ever Gurkha to join the UK Special Boat Service, regarded as the most elite unit in the military.
The Gurkha motto is 'Better to die than be a coward' and is still something Nims lives by today and believes from his chest.
A team of 10 Sherpas led by Nims has just smashed one of the last great remaining prizes in mountaineering - the ascent of K2 during the winter season.

I used to climb mountains and always go home inspired by natures energy itself... but for monrhs i felt life is so dull and dark and depressive like wantinb to comit suicide.... until i saw 14 peaks on netflix....I badlu needed this words of wisdom... thank you so mucb foe this podcast and also you guys did a good job and ask really good quwstions....i enlightened my heart. Focus on ur 1st option, don't make 2nd option, take 2nd option r for the losers, you got to do it coz u got to do it, get me, meaning got to do it to survive coz u failed ur 1st option. So do plan for 2nd option but think about the disadvantages of failing 1st option n taking 2nd option and make that yr motivator.

I started watching the documentary on Netflix a while ago, but I was put off by the subtitle, "Nothing is Impossible." The feat he and his team accomplished is indeed impressive, but to claim "nothing is impossible" is completely false BS. I watched for a few minutes, and I saw he had a team of about six experienced mountaineers helping him. I'd halfway believe "nothing is impossible" if he climbed every peak by himself within three months, and he walked to each peak without the aid of mechanical or animal transport. It would be better if the title were "The Amazing 14 Peak Conquest" or something like that, but not the ridiculous assertion that "nothing is impossible."
