He knows deep down that he really doesn't have the time or energy for a new friendship/relationship with anyone when he's trying to get a new restaurant running in 3 months time. c. Another variation of a. He doesn't feel confident or able to be in an intimate relationship of any kind especially when you get to know more about his family dynamic. Love and affection is FRAUGHT in the Berzatto Family. I think it's all of the above.

When he's at the store and gives Claire his number, he says 0, 9, 0.......2.

Ebra was in the military. In episode 7 of season 1 he mentions being around/involved with the conflict that Black Hawk Down is based on I believe he is Somalian
Omg, i just realized why richie asked nat if she wants a sprite, its brilliant. He actually could already tell she was pregnant! Because later on we see that he gets a sprite for his pregnant (then) wife 🤯 its subtle but i may also just read into it too much
I interpreted the hat as being very personal to Richie, because it belonged to Mikey, who was his best friend. And Mikey represents the past that Richie is so desperate to hold onto. A past when he felt like he belonged, and where he had someone who cared. Same reason he is resistant to any changes at the restaurant.
I agree. Like the scene where they're moving the lockers, making change is difficult and often times reveals things about yourself that you didn't know about.
Fun memory: I met Robert Townsend back in the late 90s. I was working at Columbia College Chicago and he was giving a talk. I took my mom because she loved him so much. He was so nice abs gracious.
He was one of the first black producers my parents introduced me too as a kid. Obviously I didn't fully understand his significance because I was so young but as an adult I fully respect his contribution to the craft. I'm happy he's still finding work.
I love the close ups from a filmmaker stand point to show depth to characters and intimacy but they do get a bit of jarring as the season continues. I love the pan tills of the train scenes to push the transition of the stories. I’m curious to see how they continue to shoot the show as season 3 goes.
Carmy does give her the wrong number. I noticed this the first time i watched it, the writers make a conscious effort during the locker removal scene for us to notice the phone number Carmy says on the call.

Bc he was practically her dad growing up bc she watched so much of his stuff and the writer said that he was already on top of the list. So they gave him a call and jumped at the chan e bc he loved the show.
I love this series! I needed to find a new show after The Last of Us ended. In regards to season 2 of The Bear...the only thing I did not like was Carmy and Claire's relationship👎🏾 She annoys me for some reason. Lol

The story in the cinematography is top notch. It does such an excellent job of setting the mood and tone.
