Anthony Ruggiano Jr. is a former member of the Gambino crime family, which is one of the five families of organized crime in New York City. He is the son of Anthony "Fat Andy" Ruggiano, who was also A Capo, a high-ranking member of the Gambino family. Anthony Ruggiano Jr. has been involved in various criminal activities, including extortion, loan sharking, and racketeering. However, it is important to note that engaging in criminal activities is illegal and not condoned by any reputable organization or individual.
Angelo Ruggiero, also known as "Quack Quack," was a former member of the Gambino crime family in New York City. He was a close associate of John Gotti, the boss of the Gambino family, and was involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking and extortion. Ruggiero was known for his flamboyant personality and his love for ducks, which earned him the nickname "Quack Quack." He passed away in 1989 due to cancer.
Fat Andy Ruggiano was a member of the Gambino crime family, one of the "Five Families" of the Italian-American Mafia in New York City. He was known for his involvement in various criminal activities, including loan sharking, extortion, and racketeering.
John Gotti was a notorious American mobster who was the boss of the Gambino crime family in New York City during the 1980s. He was known for his flamboyant personality, sharp dressing, and ruthless tactics. Gotti was also known for his ability to evade law enforcement and avoid conviction, earning him the nickname "Teflon Don." However, it is important to note that his actions were illegal and unethical, and he was eventually convicted of multiple crimes and sentenced to life in prison. While some may view him as a charismatic figure, it is important to remember the harm he caused to others and the criminal nature of his actions.
Glad u showed love to Angelo.. always felt he was more important than ppl gave him credit for
His brother was way more powerful
His tapes helped bring down the family so he was definitely 'important' lol
Don , forget about it.!!!
Hey Boston, forget about it, capesch
Of all the guys telling stories about the mob life I think Anthony shoots the the most honest of the life and the fact that he overcame addiction is incredible. Please keep up the great work Anthony!
I do like his videos the most. I did like Franzese but now it’s all political rants. Turn off. Sammy is ok but swears too much.
Hey jonstark forget about it capesch.!!!
The fact that Quack Quack made Caporegime illustrates how low the standards were after Castellano.
He was made before castellano was killed
But your absolutely right
@@lamardouglas1473 Gotti made the cafone a Captain after Castellano.
He was very close to John.well liked. He was also entertaining he inherited the heroin business
more like favoritism
I think it's amazing what you do giving back to the recovering community as a member myself.Great podcast and band👍God Bless
Sammy said John used to go out clubbing every night and not get out of bed until 1pm, and Ange ran his crew in his absence. He was the power behind the thrown, good that he gets his props.
Throne?
@@FBT9356 yes, it's an idiom. I obviously don't mean literal thronr.
He sniffed heroin and it got to him . That shit clouds your mind.
Sammy's a pathological liar.
@@williamshakespeare9815You just sent him running to a dictionary with his tail between his legs 😂
Thanks so much. Can't get enough.
Glad you enjoy it!
On the famous tape you referred to in the video of him saying he's not giving up those tapes, it is amazing how much his voice sounds like Vincent Pastore. Great story about him!
Happy Friday, Anthony!
Love hearing the Tony plate story would’ve like to hear more ab that
Thanks Anthony for the great content!!!! Have a wonderful day every one
I knew Angello. I was a towel holder compared to him, but he was such a gentleman that I never suspected he was a killer. He was like someone you called uncle. I heard he was responsible for saving lives at a prison fire in Danbury. This doesn't surprise me because he was stronger than an ox. I wasn't in his group, but he whispered things to me which he wasn't supposed to. I was honored to be trusted and smart enough to have never repeated it. I'm not a big guy but never felt threatened by him. RIP.
Angelo was put on the shelf after the failed hit on gaspipe.
Like always great show guys, enjoyed this morning…have a great weekend!
Great show thanks again guys
The intro is great, this sounds like music that you would here walking into a Starbucks
@@SpiderSnake94 You don't know much about Gangster Music , huh? Lol joke
@@Drum1965 I don’t know who taught you how to communicate but they did a bad job
Anthony keep putting out this content and you’ll grow so fast and pass a lot of these people here in views and likes 👍
great video a s always god bless have great weekened there
That painting or photo in the background could be called “Italian Gothic” 😂
I really want you to do John Carneglia next and Charles. That will be fascinating. Thanks Anthony these are great ❤
John carneglia wouldn't let producers of the 1996 HBO "GOTTI" movie use him as a character,so that's why Tony Siricos characters name is Joseph Dimaglia in the 🎬
Thanks for the street smart info😊🇺🇸🍀😎⚓️
Good morning Anthony, must be Friday morning brother 👊💯🙏🏼
I'm glad you broke the myth, because everyone says he was called quack quack because he talked so much.
..... but also he talked too much.
Perhaps there’s another reason but it definitely applies both ways. Dude couldn’t stfu
He also admitted that his father would press Quack Quack for information.
@@alexandrostheodorou8387 Lol ppl didn’t really need to press him for information. All he did was talk.
Great show you have some of the best content on TH-cam brother. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that!
@Anthony Ruggiano its Al great 👍 stuff bless Scotland
Thank you for this episode I really enjoyed it
Ruggiero performed the ultimate LCN hat trick of ducking three LCN death sentences, and becoming the catalyst for everything that went wrong with LCN. In his own wiretaps, Luchesse Boss and Commission member Tony "Ducks" Corrallo articulated what LCNS's policy was for dealing "junk": the Death Sentence. "We need to make some examples". Ruggiero is not only dealing "junk" but commits the additional LCN cardinal sin of rejecting the "Boss''" direct order to turn over the tapes and shrugging off "Neil's" reminder that "the Boss is the Boss is the Boss". Ruggiero then proceeds to commit the ultimate LCN sin of betraying and killing his Boss without approval, which elevates Gotti to Boss and begins the decline of the LCN that Ruggiano learned, lived, and remembers. "Quack Quack" must've been one Hell of an incredibly charming and charismatic MFr for his "friends" to overlook all of those betrayals of the code and "life" that they were so dedicated to living and defending.

Great show
Someone from that life giving something back to the community, respect. Unlike some others we could mention who like to pretend they are.
Thanks once again for the quality content. Glad to see the numbers growing.
John was a no apologetic gangster, and he acted accordingly. Stood on his square until the end.
Can you imagine the power of this family that Carlo built and just to have these clowns break all the rules and destroy it in no time
Great content as always Anthony
Angelo was shelved after the failed "unsanctioned" hit on Anthony Casso, Jimmy Hydel gave up Angelo and Mickey Paradiso after being tortured by Casso. Casso was also the Luchese consigliere at the time and shelving Angelo was to appease newly appointed boss Vic Amuso. The Luchese and Gambino families were partners in the garment center and Gotti wanted things to cool down after the Frank Decicco hit, so he shelved quack quack.
So you watched the Travolta Gotti movie too.
@@jonathansack6827 nah. Heard it was terrible. They actually put gaspipe in the movie?
Anthony, great show, thank you
I find your stories very entertaining.
Great show love hearing ab wise guys that we don’t hear a lot about
Early bird gets the worm huh Anthony. 😎
For those guys to leave that guy with Gas Pipe after he talked is Horrible.
To be Tortured 12 hours by a sick Psychopath wld be pure hell. I cant imagine what that guy went through.
The guy was a complete creep
Meaning Hydell
Thanks Anthony
Don’t understand why Angel keeps saying that you didn’t know her father.. just because he was the boss didn’t mean he didn’t talk with anyone
Angel has axes to grind. Gotta wonder why she never shows her face.
Women were not privy to anything that went on in the streets back then, so I'm sure John never talked much about anyone or anything at home. Even Franzese said his dad never brought the street life home, so I think Angel is somewhat living off her dad's name, which I understand, but didn't know much of that life.
She wouldn't have any real knowledge of her Dads private life.
@@AndyB718 Of course not, and not only would he not want to expose his family to murders and crimes but he wouldn’t want to take a chance of his home being bugged
God bless...tony....I'm in recovery also....from the street....u do good work on youtube
It was Danny Marino that left the kid too. I believe the kid was Marinos nephew also.
Love your channel
I love when you guys were the old NFL football jacket in late 1970s team logo in front of the jacket those were the says fashion
I remember getting word from my foreman/boss when i picked up garbage for WSI.
Andy make sure to dump the unpainted 2 yd containers along the RR tracks around the corner from the club..It was for the 4th of July party's.
Always fascinating
Another Great Show
I just discovered your show and I think it's excellent that you have a show me I suffer from and I have a lot of connections to Italian guys guys work for body shops in the 80s and 90s my early all in Brooklyn Foster avenue canarsie Ralph avenue canarsie an Coney Island in Brooklyn so I have a big connection with the guys in that lifestyle I seen it a lot I seen it all used to work for people independently also doing detailing of cars I met a lot of those they used to come to the body shops and car dealerships that I use to work at but I'm glad you have this channel because my addiction sometimes kicks up but I always seem to arrested and handle it the best way God bless you I'm going to save your number so when I get an urge or craving I know who to call 🙏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾🇮🇹
Appreciate you sir
I think the Gambino guy that casso killed was Jimmy Highdeal somthing like that..
Anthony, was he called quack because he talked alot or because of how he walked?
Walked
Being from Sheepshead bay Brooklyn I enjoy your stories very much.
Any Sheepshead Bay stories? Lundy’s?
What about Quaaludes?
I don’t get it when they talk about giving the tapes up to the bosses, how is a mobster going to get the tapes from the fbi, to give to the mafia boss?
when they get arrested they get copies
Enjoy your podcast greatly. Very informational you come across. Like to hear more about your father's early history. Where the action is I new York. The hot spots. Does the five families still exist?
Andy, do you have any stories about Tommy Gambino, Vario sons, Funari, 19th Hole, Arcuri, Ralph Mosca, and some of Tommy Desimone alleged dozen murders?
Please help us make the show better by asking your question on the next live show www.patreon.com/reformedgangsters Thank you!
He’s talked about both Tommy’s in previous videos
@BostonsF1nest wow.. I will take a look back at past videos.
Did you know or have any dealings with Eddie Lino?
One of the reasons Angelo was shelved was because he tried to kill Anthony gaspipe Casso without permission. It wasn’t because of the tapes.
Nice shirt big Tony!
Groovy tone 👍
Angie what in the good name of FUNGOOL?😳
Don Carlo and Big Paul always met at the Veterans and Friends club
Get down Andy luv ya man, Dave from Oakland ca
Excellent plus video !!!
Sorry to bother u mate but im goin to go to a rehab centre on monday but i dont want to change me
Mack the knife was your dads favourite song my dads is brown od girl
Please can you do a video on Joe Watts. Many people say he was rich. How did he become rich? What was his main business?
Welcome back
Failed hit on gas pipe?
I think Angelo should be happy in Heaven now, knowing that someone has taken over his old nickname. Congratulations to Robert NeNiro!
Lot of fellas during this era were coked out pilled out etc No one was thinking clearly.
They called him quack quack because of the way he walked.
This guy is getting most of his information from the movies that he has seen or things that he has herd you’re speaking to the guy that’s been there with all this killers let him do the talking.
Your intro rules
Anthony, with the knowledge you have;was Angelo shelved because of the tapes or for the Gaspipe Casso botched hit?
Good content, thx
Joe Butch from Brooklyn.. ? A friend from Jersey did time with him
Anthony ,your awesome my friend,,great show, you remind me of a uncle i had ,you say it like it is ,,,,,,you like bakala salt y fish a christmas fish lol

Love that theme music.
Andy, Stories about your father in Florida with Sal Reale, Agro, Iacavetti, and Ianuzzi.
If Frankie and Sammy weren’t on board do you think the Paul hit goes down ?
Great ? Will answer this on TH-cam live 7pm Saturday. Thank you

Hey Anthony do you have any Nino gaggi story’s did you n your dad know him well ????
Please help us make the show better by asking your question on the next live show www.patreon.com/reformedgangsters Thank you!
Trying to clip Gas was why Angelo got shelved
The introduction band very nice.
I thought sammy came up with the hit and plan on Paul Castellano?
Why does Mike Franzese insist drugs were not a big deal in the mafia?
I always heard he got shelved for trying to hit caso
Senior last name Ruggiero and junior Ruggiano?
Two different families
whats the name of the song/band
In the book Gaspipe by Di Carlo Gas had a sit down with Mr Neil after Hydell gave Angelo up as a hitter Mr Neil got Angelo a pass according to Gas
For some reason for the longest time I thought these two were related
The Duck 🦆 should have been dealt with immediately 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Did you have any personal dealings with Carmine Agnello or was that after your time
Awesome show.. thanks guys
A lot of money in junk... Mob couldn't resist doing that on the sneak... The rule was always don't get caught or you r dead.
I was confused about the author of video talking about someone that looks like an accidental misspelled name of his own
Was Lefty Ruggiero & anthony ruggiero related?
Da man who played wit da heron
Wasn’t Neil D the underboss his uncle?
