Nice video and enjoy your car! 1 tip: I wouldn't close the chargeport by pressing on it, it will close by itself after a few seconds or when you start driving / lock the car. It isn't the strongest part unfortunately, so it's better to not put manual pressure on the mechanism.
I just got mine yesterday. I haven't had any issues except for it showing my frunk is open, and it's not. Appears to be a known issue. As long as it doesn't open, I'm okay with it. They are already set to come on fix it. I've found no issues with paint or panel gaps. I'm not as familiar as you are. I'm looking and poking everywhere. I didn't notice if I had the wood or not. I hope I do!
By the way, try the hold mode as soon as you can. I swear to you, it won't take more than a couple of days to get used to the hold mode. It's worth it and much better than the roll mode. Once you start using the hold mode, there is no way you want to go back to roll mode!
You mentioned adding accessories in your video. One accessory I see people discuss is to add mudflaps or not. Did you car come with mudflaps already installed? By the way, I have a similar configurated Model Y coming next month.

I just got my Tesla just before Thanksgiving. It's a 2023 from Fremont (I live in SoCal). Once I saw my VIN displayed in the app, the delivery was 10 days away. Then I was contacted by the Delivery Team and got it within a week of my VIN. I had studied this timing and I had seen that some folks had the opportunity to early deliver their cars, but had hiccups on payments or insurance. I'm glad I paid for insurance a week in advance of my delivery date, else that would have been another potential delay on getting my car early.
Once the VIN showed up in the app I was contacted by my local Tesla dealership by text and email that delivery day was about 10-14 days away. They sent over details on how the payment should be made. I had my insurance set up within a few days of getting the VIN. I got delivery about 10 days after the VIN. I phoned them to confirm a few things and they informed me that my car was still in transport and would cross the border and arrive a day before delivery. Good luck with your delivery!

I do have a vehicle related question--namely, how did you decide to put your wall connector where you did in the garage?
Hi Mark, glad my video helped you. I made the decision on the wall charger location based on a few factors. The right side of the garage has less room and higher traffic so my car is more likely to get scratched. Having it closer to the garage door was important for me since we have friends with Teslas and they may need to charge in the driveway sometimes. Also, it's a lot easier for me to set it to charge when I exit my car and walk back into the house.
The car only came with the SAE J1772 adapter which is used for charging at non-Tesla charging stations. I had to purchase my own mobile connector and wall connector.
Congratulations. I am not sure it is good idea to run a long wires from the circuit breaker to the charger. It should be #6AWG wires and as short as possible from the circuit breaker.

Firefighter need special chemicals for EV because use of water is danger on high voltage components. If you drive a EV you should have a fire drill.. To get the most out of your Tesla you should watch a few TH-cam videos on all the voice commands the car has to offer. You don’t really have to use the screen if you get to know all the voice commands. Also, the STATS app enables you to issue voice command from your Apple Watch using Siri.
Can’t stand the door handle functionality. They look awesome and go well with the lines of the car, but so annoying to open. Why don’t they automatically come out like so many other manufacturers? I find the interiors super boring, but that’s just personal preference.

Why do people get the black interior with the wood trim? It’s so ugly and original. The white makes the Tesla interior look. Absolutely stunning.
The white looks sharp while it’s clean. But with kids and a dog I knew I couldn’t keep the white looking white for long.
