Dude, that looks amazing! Having a DR 350 myself, but I live in Germany and there is a generall forest driving prohibition... So we can't really drive through our nice landscapes. So this is really cool to me! Subbed :D
Facebook Marketplace is where I found mine, but it took a while to find specifically what I was looking for. Electric start + kickstart is a great combo, the convenience of the e-start is great but the backup reliability of the kickstart has saved my butt a couple times out in the mountains
Unfortunately not.. but HAWK has some pretty good budget gear. Been using my ADV suit for over a year now and was happy enough to buy a 2nd jacket in all black. LS2 also has some quality helmets for good prices. Congrats on the new bike!
At first I thought something was wrong with the camera but then put in a new battery at home and it was working fine. I agree though, it was an interesting effect.
Cool thanks for watching! There's no shortage of trails here in Oregon, I've spent 3 years just riding the local area and still find new trails all the time
Love your videos man. Also, how's the bike holding up? I am looking at a couple of DRZ350s online and am sorely tempted. Just waiting on some cash I'm owed.
Definitely buy it if you can, they're getting harder and harder to find. I've had mine for over 2 years now, put several thousand miles and still runs like new. One of the better dual sports out there imo
@@jeffstinchcomb9480 There's a pretty big aftermarket scene for the DR350. I was able to get a custom seat for it, tail rack, oversized tank, foot pegs etc. Also quite a bit of parts are interchangeable with other bikes as well like the DRZ headlight shroud and sprockets etc. I don't actually think I've had any kind of major failures with the bike that required a DR350 specific replacement part though, mainly just bulbs, chains, brake pads, cables and the likes. ADVForums has a giant thread specifically for the DR350 filled with thousands of pages of info on how to fix any kind of issue along with a ton of guys who can sell you almost any part you can think of that they get from scrap bikes. It is an older bike but pretty damn reliable, people are easily putting 40-50,000 miles + on them
I was able to pick up a 98 dr350se with all the upgrades by a guy who meticulously maintained it .. its sitting at 6500 miles ... lol question is living in and riding where you are are you using the mikuni cv carb or did you swap that for something else?
This bike has the stock carb on it. You can put in the pumper carb but from everything I've read the swap isn't really worth the trouble, but everyone's opinion on it is different. Even with street gearing (39 tooth on rear) this bike has plenty of power for getting around, I think it hit the perfect medium of being lightweight enough to take off road but big enough to be able to handle 65-70mph on highways
@@mtnmotoadv I agree.. seems the same for exhaust as well.. I already have most mods for adventure. Just need the oversized tank .. Live in Northern Michigan.. plenty to explore out here .. and the Dr 350 is a great bike and will do everything and anything I need it to do ,it has a loyal fan base that is also very willing to help you
@@jeremybanks2326 The Clark tank that I have is pretty good, I also like the Acerbis since it has two petcocks on both sides. I've had my DR for 2 years now and it has been totally solid the entire time, I've probably put at least 10k miles on it and never skipped a beat. Just make sure you keep the oil topped off since starving the head is probably the #1 way to kill the bike.
@@mtnmotoadv The DRZ 350 is possibly the best bike ever made for dual sport. My son owns the 2002 XR250R and its a do it all bike, however, I think the Dr3 strikes the perfect balance between the XR250 and the XR400. Your rides and adventures are epic.

Picking up a 96 Dr 350 today. Thanks for the content and keep it up buddy💎
Awesome, it's a fun bike I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

Always love the content, its so beautiful out where your at!
Glad you enjoy it!
What a weird way for a camera to deal with a flat battery. Awesome vid as always

Picked up a 1993 dr350 last weekend. So happy with that bike
The DR350 design really hit the sweet spot of true dual sport imo. Had mine 4 years now and still haven't got bored of it
Been waiting for a new video man. Love to see it!
I really appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Love the Oblivion music haha
I've been putting elder scrolls music in my vids for a while now and you're the first person to notice lol
@@mtnmotoadv it’s a nice touch! I have a DR350SE that’s a little torn apart rn but they are amazing bikes
Found your video on FB. New ADV rider with my son. Looking for cool trails down here in a Southern Oregon

What song is playing in the intro about 20 seconds in? Sounds so familiar. Beautiful area!

The 400s have been going forever, but the 350s not so much anymore.
