MTN MOTO ARCHIVES: Originally filmed towards the end of February of 2022 (yes it took me 2 months to finally get around to editing and publishing this video). While running errands around town I had noticed some frosty tips on some of the distant mountain tops, so I decided to hop on the Suzuki DR350 SE and investigate. Any winter riding videos in the mix? Miss seeing your uploads brother 🤙🏼😎
I live in Sutherlin, on a 21 Beta 500 rrs...id be stoked to link up for a ride sometime...msg me back if interested...cant have to many riding buddies
Couldn't resist. Very good presentation
Nice build. I hope you dropped the Coke habit!
wasn't on drugs just horribly awkward in front of the camera, appreciate the concern though
Screw horse people, entitled hobbyists 🤦🏻♂️
These trails and nature en bloc makes me jealous. We have nice places here in Europe, but that's another level, especially dirt roads, here many of them are for hikers only. BTW, what's that square computer thingy on the left? :D
Cheap, reliable fun. Huge win.
Great work with the video man ! Enjoyed every minute. 👌
I really appreciate it, thank you!
Most of my rides are 4 to 5 hours on saturday morning. I do about 5 full day rides a year. It is not necessary to go all out. My 2 cents
Just found your channel. Your audio is very clear. What do you record it with?
DJI action 4, Ninge gaming mic and movo adapter. This is my first video with the action 4 though which has a gain adjustment setting, previously I was using the osmo action 1 with the same mic which still sounded good but would peak often due to the lack of gain settings
I've got the same Bayou 220 plastics the same color mines a 1999. Can't wait to get it out. Never owned a dirt bike, Side by side or a 4 wheeler. Your video is making me jealous. LoL.
Was anyone else hearing the loud knocking noise coming from the engine that mirrored the rpm’s?
@@matttownsend3069 motor doesn't knock, it's just a really noisy thumper. I was a little worried when I first got the bike but after a bit of research I found everyone's experience is the same with this engine
"Found by the river" My dude that knife probably has dna evidence on it.
The video before this one shows when I found it. About 100 feet from the knife was two sketchy tweakers in a car who confronted me. That knife has probably seen some things
Port Oreford is also known as Port Awful 😊. Everyone is mean...
1st.
If ya ain't first you're last
Debussy. Are you a musician?
Yes been playing guitar for nearly 20 years now
What wind shield are you using my man?
I believe it was a National Cycle windscreen. Mounts to the handlebar and took about 10 seconds with a wrench to take it on or off.
What is your gauge setup?
Left is air temperature, right is a digital clock then have an oil temp gauge in the dipstick
@@mtnmotoadv I love the oil temp gauge dipstick, I'll need to get one for mine
Hola amigo q tal quiero preguntarte cuanto vale una cuatrimoto como esa es grande por q quiero a serle un remolque para vender mi producto gracias amigo
We ride out of Central Oregon would love to ride that area with you. Great video.
I used to hunt and ride that coastal area, Elk and Sixes River many many moons ago. I really miss that area.
It is a really beautiful place
great video and editing love the SpongeBob music
Appreciate it, thank you
Would love to see some more vids on this little beast, I’ve got one identical I’ve been working with
Got another bayou vid in the works, should be done editing sometime soon
I live in Gold Beach. Those are my daily riding roads. Nice video. It showcases the beauty of this area.. Ride Safe.
You're fortunate to live there, feel like I just scratched the surface on what there is to see
Nice to see the DR350 getting a chance to stretch its legs.
I live in Coos bay. Ill have to do that route once i get a bike. I take my jeep up to that area from time to time.
Nice route !
nice ride! i'll have to check that one out, just up the road in eugene
Make sure you check out Hanging Rock if you go out that way. Was on the agenda for this trip but ended up not having enough time to make it, but definitely worth it if you can
Nice really enjoy your videos, we should ride together sometime.
I appreciate it! Where you located?
the spongebob music gives me chill vibes :). keep up the great work and dont forget to enjoy your rides. its a pleasure to watch
Thank you!
I had a 94 Kawasaki Bayou 220. That was in 2008. That thing was reliable as heck. Nothing ever broke on it. It started every time. I had it for two years. It didn't have 4x4 but i never let that stop me, id just get a run and go on everything. Lol...i had to sell it for financial problems and Ive kicked myself ever since. Definitely a very dependable ATV from my perspective.
Youre so lucky you live in the PNW. lived there as a kid. You guys have the best riding. Does your DR350SE have upgraded suspension?
Very fortunate to live where I'm at, tons of variety within 100 miles of any direction. Also my DR has a front end swap with an RM250 for upgraded forks. Nothing done to the rear suspension as far as I'm aware
I've been sitting on the fence on buying a '93 Bayou for the last 2 weeks. Watching this is gonna cost me money.
I say go for it. Money comes and goes but fun memories last a lifetime
Nice find. A fun little money pit. Cheaper than muscle cars, guns and motorcycles right now.
I found what I'm assuming is a Satanic shrine, out by Loon Lake OR. Had like a podium, candles everywhere, weird rock formations, other stuff. In the middle of the woods. Off a closed road. I thought I'd see something like that here lol
Pretty sure the kick start was standard on all of these bikes the electric was optional
From my understanding the DR350S was kickstart only and the DR350SE was electric start only, though you could add the kickstart if you wanted to the SE from the S model
Hey. Enjoy watching your stuff as it’s almost always familiar. Ever tried to route from Redtop to Panther creek on 138?
Oh yeah from Redtop to Red Butte, cross over Little River Rd up towards Grotto Falls then connect to Panther Creek rd. DId a group ride out there two summers ago
@@mtnmotoadv thanks! I’ll see if I can map that route😀
Was gonna stay off fb marketplace today till I saw this
I was browsing FB every other day till I came across this barn find, got lucky to get one for free
Japanese make such good stuff. These lil things pay for themselves in pleasure and yard chores.
Dog on paved road was great!
Got a dr650 and thinking of dropping to a dr350… just curious what is the top speed? Do you have any power mods?
On a loong straight stretch, with a slight downhill bias and tail wind.. maybe 80ish mph. With a 15/39t you can cruise 60-65mph with decent comfort but wouldn't want to do it for more than a couple hours. No power mods but once I rebuild the top end I'm going to throw a 385 big bore at it. If you like doing long stretches of pavement I'd stick to the 650, but if you prefer trails or long trips on dirt and gravel I'd go with the 350.
@@mtnmotoadv yeah, stock form does not sound good for the highway. Spoke with built motors (formerly thumper racing) and they still do the 440 big bore kit at stock compression ratio. Was thinking this might be the way to get it going with an adv setup, along with optional factory oil cooler.
@Weltbummler23 go onto ADVForums in the DR350 thread, the people on there are DR350 gurus and can tell you everything you need to know. 440 kits have their pros and cons, you do get more power but you also lose some revving ability. The 350 has enough power to cruise 70mph it's just more of a gearing thing, you can swap out sprockets obviously but you can also get different clutch baskets that have different gearing ratios too to make gearing taller. But then you're going to lose the lower end torque and will be slipping the clutch a lot if you do a lot of trails. There's compromises but the 6th gear definitely helps with things
Nice..it's good to have both Electric and kick start
That kickstart has saved my butt more than once. Wouldn't ride without one
Absoutely great! Love the roads you ride and the bike as well!
Picked up a 1993 dr350 last weekend. So happy with that bike
The DR350 design really hit the sweet spot of true dual sport imo. Had mine 4 years now and still haven't got bored of it
PENOSO
love the DR350, but think you should do more with XL200. (my bike)
F*ck yes man!
DUDE, THE BEST!!!!

Close! This is in southern Oregon
GOOD SONG, GOOD BIKE, GOOD MAN!
