There's a scene where they explained that Joey created a cartoon version of Henry as a way to project his torture n anger after the real Henry walked out on him. Considering his appearance n no need of food, it's most likely this cartoon Henry is the one we just saw n have been following all along.

Nah they pulled the rise of Skywalker on the fans they put the the first main character as this cool guy and defeated the villain to a weak old man so that the new girl character rise's up and save the day [EDIT] the rise of Skywalker is a star wars movie if you don't know

Henry knew "The End" is the key to breaking the cycle, but the Ink Demon is soulless from his failed attempt of making Bendy to break it, so the loop repeats. Audrey is the key to merge her soul to Ink Demon to break the cycle completely. He's not really Henry but a clone by Joey to torment in the Ink Realm. The real one is already having a normal life with a family in the real world.

She's born from the Ink Machine by Joey Drew to escape his hatred to make a family, even giving Henry one when he left as they're still friends. She isn't even complex nor her abilities for only whacking a Gent pipe, and melt away enemies at a few. Her father (clone) has powers as her, even Henry. It's unfair to compare her to Rey, as she's glorified mess. Originally being Obi-Wan's granddaughter, then Rian Johnson ignored it to make her a nobody in The Last Jedi, damaging what little to-no plans Abrams had for the trilogy at the start, he made her Palpatine's granddaughter and claims herself as all Jedi and Skywalker in cringe. The purpose of bring Palpatine back is soulless fan service as the rest of the film. This is not the same.

So cartoon henry being older here and the 30 years passing is just a senario joey built for the cartoon world. This version of henry was never young and never ages. He just has memories of the real henry. Henry was imprisoned for many years. And if he actually aged while in wilsons prison he would be very very old by now. But he just looks like a tired 45/50 year old man
It made sense he is subject 414 because the number of tallys he secretly wrote on the walls showing how many times he went through the cycle was 414 also WE FINALLY SEE WHAT HENRY LOOKS LIKE!!!...so what Henry after ages escaped the cycle only by being taken out of it and placed in a cell and held prisoner???

@JUMPY COOL When the cycle resets, their memories reset. Allison Angel wasn't even aware of the cycle. I don't know how Henry found out about the cycle but everyone did become aware of it later on. I could be wrong though.
The true slayer of the Ink Demon himself. Sadly, a victim of the cycle as well, he found out how to fix this universe's problem. However, he was locked away from the world by a man who claimed his title. An ironic fate, trapped in a prison while being able to have all of the answers.
When BATDR first came out, I never expected to see Henry Stein in person! This, to me, is one of the most riveting and heartbreaking moments in the game-Henry sounds so broken and defeated and you just want to see him free.

The Real Henry was never in the alternate reality. This Henry is a copy Joey Drew created to take his frustration out on. That is why this Henry makes a comment about not eating for days, and not being human.

My guess is the one that got out was also Fiction Henry because for a brief moment at the end of the first game you’re in reality before you walk through the front door and end up back in the Ink World. By this same logic people can also go into it. The Ink Curse is more real than we ever thought.
I already imagine that in a time later, they would do a remastered of the original game and return it like the graphics and redesigns of this sequel, so we would finally see Henry as flesh and blood and not an invisible guy.

I feel they could've done a little more with Henry in hindsight. It just feels weird how he says "when you need me again find me" but we never see him again till the end of the game after he escaped offscreen.
As soon as I saw the experiment 414 on the glass I immediately knew Henry was about to appear, then when I saw a human figure and hear the neatly start talking I lost my mind

Just to remind everyone that the real TRUE Henry Stein is out in the living world, according to Joey this Henry is just an Inky clone with high self-awareness, same can be said for the others, Tom, Allison, Susie etc.
What I love about this game is that while we are freaking out about the plot twists and reveals, the characters talk like normal. They don’t know what we knew about the previous game, there’s no reason for them to be surprised unless they’re the ones being affected. Just something I noticed

The Keepers locked him up for know how to reset the Cartoon World. It is called cycle breaking. Wilson needs the Cycle to not reset for his plans to work.
People thought that Henry was the good Bendy, the Bendy that looked like the Baby Bendy we accidentally shocked with our hands. It’s great to know that Henry is actually Human though. However I didn’t think Henry would look so young. Joey and Henry have only been away from each other for 30 years. Henry kind of looks like an 18-year old. Or a 20-year old. It’s crazy that he hasn’t worked on cartoons for 30 years, not 10 or something.
I really surprised how did Henry stay sane after 141 cycles over and over again he looked very desperate 😢 I'm curious how Henry managed to write hidden messages and invent a machine that could be seen even though Henry was only an animator and not an inventor🤔
Henry was so badass ngl, he pushed through after tons of trauma in the first game, getting chased around by literal hellscape demons that are almost like a shadow of his past, and still managed to defeat the one controlling everything. AND NO WEAPONS, DAMN
What a beautiful moment in the game despite neither of them knowing the other, I especially love how in addition to seeing his face we also hear him say “So did I” when Audrey says she wants to go home. It’s both a bittersweet reminder that the Henry we loved was never real and never had a family, a home, a job, or even color while at the same time a revelation that this Henry has finally learned the truth and understands that unlike Audrey he truly belongs to this world and his sole purpose is to reset the cycle.

Henry was so badass ngl, he pushed through after tons of trauma in the first game, getting chased around by literal hellscape demons that are almost like a shadow of his past, and still managed to defeat the one controlling everything.

What a beautiful moment in the game despite neither of them knowing the other, I especially love how in addition to seeing his face we also hear him say “So did I” when Audrey says she wants to go home. It’s both a bittersweet reminder that the Henry we loved was never real and never had a family, a home, a job, or even color while at the same time a revelation that this Henry has finally learned the truth and understands that unlike Audrey he truly belongs to this world and his sole purpose is to reset the cycle.
