I personally really like running in barefoot shoes. They put a lot of strain on your calf as t first because your legs and feet are getting used to running without any cushioning but you'll notice your feet and legs get much stronger. It also forces you to land mid foot otherwise it will hurt to heel strike, so your form should be good wearing them. Hard to wear, but I'm definitely a fan.
No just why would I spend 275 on these when they are not superior to the Alphafly 3 and I can buy Vaporflys which are arguably a better shoe for less. Seems crazy to me. If hoka and other brands brought to market elite shoes that were as good as Nike at a cheaper price people would buy them but if I have 275 dollars for a pair of race shoes I’m buying Alphaflys or vaporflys every single day.

I just got a pair and I felt that same thing. I did the runners loop to fix it and it worked! Maybe try it for yourself and it will hopefully fix it?

Try loosening the laces event a little bit. You're stuffing your foot in with 8+ inches of lace to spare.
