Not sure how many others feel about including the cardboard pieces with deluxe versions, but I find it unnecessary and just end up recycling them. I would much prefer saving the resources, time, and money and not including those when they have been replaced by deluxe components. Just my opinion, but would be interesting to see how many feel the same.
Concerning the colossal edition… 1) Does the insert allow for sleeved cards? 2) Is there space in the game box for the XL player boards? 3) Is there space in the game box for the ‘extra’ cardboard components?
If you also bought the game mat, then you can leave out the game board. Also put instruction booklets between each board to stop them bending when stored due to the dials.
I played this at GenCon 2022. It is awesome. A six person game with all inexperienced players, we completed it in under 3 hours. As a bonus, we got to play with a hand painted set of the miniatures which were gorgeous. (and cost Forbidden Games a cool $4,000) I still managed to lose the game but did get to meet Glenn and have him autograph one of the promo cards they were offering. Forbidden was offering a $30 discount on the Colossus Edition for delivery in September 2022 which I could not turn down. Very high-quality components and well taught by the staff. (Now if I only had $4000 to have my miniatures hand-painted......)
I have watched your unboxing video and the excellence of your project makes me extremely happy and proud to have supported your game and I await the arrival of your game on my doorstep. The constant updates you have provided for your project throughout made me filled confident that you were carrying out your commitment to supporters regardless of Covid delays. I felt confident in your loyalty to us as supporters throughout the delay, whereas my financial support for the Kickstarter remake of Fief by Phalanx has so far proven to be a great disappointment. I have received no updates, no game nor any response on a supported game that the developer listed as completed, including the deluxe painted figures and neoprene map. The difference between the two Kickstarter projects fulfillment and communication, that I have fully backed, speaks to your high degree of commitment to your supporters, and I thank you for that. Quality and dedication are evident in your project.
For the Sphinx edition are there still the same boxes for us to put the tokens/counters in? Hopefully that functionality isn't lost even if we didn't get the miniatures
I have received Sphinx edition and it did not come with the "lower level" of organizers for each player, so be prepared to have six bags (one for each player color) of "tokens" for all of the city, town, and military pieces.
Hey Glenn... good to see you (well hear you at least-lol) my Friend! I missed out on the original kickstarter but backed it with the Expansion.. of course the Collosal All In.. just looks awesome! 😍.. it's my understanding, the core game after the campaign closes in a couple of days, will be shipped out possibly next month? (I wouldn't have to wait too long to get my hands on this?)- Looking forward to it! Thanks again for making another great game! 👍 Oh, btw, who's the Artist on this (is it Paul again or another artist?)
Oh. My bad.. just scrolled down on the campaign page.. saw the credits for the Artists 🎨 ✨️! (Also Shout out to Mr Sean Brown... saw Him there in the Credits too!) - 😉
The video goes black for a bit around 9:10 and then afterwards the audio is out of sync by several seconds.

The insert DOES allow for sleeved cards
Yes. The XL Boards fit in the box...though they do raise the lid a bit.

Two manuals? What is this madness?!
Is the XL player board included in the Colossus Edition? Or a separate purchase like the neoprene mat?
Separate. We will have some available when we launch the Expansion Kickstarter October 13
@@glenndrover5914 Thank you. I'll definitely be backing the expansion. Great game you designed, Mr. Drover. Happy to back it.
