Leona wins hands down. Her clarity, tone, and head voice are flawless. Leona has more power and skill. She sounds like an angel. Mariah has a shrill sound, weaker head voice, and her tone is not as clear. But they are both talented. Leona the better vocalist, and Mariah sells more records lol
Mariah of course! Do doubt that she is the best singer that has ever lived! 5 octaves, whistle, 18 #1's , 200 million albums and her songs are so awesome! How can you beat that? I love leona too btw!

I admit Leona would outsing Mariah nowadays but Leona isn't nearly as good as Mariah was in her prime. Mariah back than was superhuman! Compare Mariah's prime and Leona's prime and see who wins. There's no question Mariah would stand out.

Mariah's best songs are forever, without you, always be my baby, my all, i wanna know what love is. I heard all her artistry and she is crap compared to Leona, you can enjoy all Leona's songs. There's no strong and weak, they're just amazing songs. And what do you need higher than Leona's range, she does the notes perfectly in erh range not like M with air on them
