I knew this was true but couldn’t be bothered to do it myself. Thanks for proving how lazy and inept Phillip is. With almost two decades of experience his incompetence is remarkable. If this was my job at least half of my time and effort would be dedicated to doing things off stream to prepare and/or spare viewers from having to watch me fail at something. Things Phillip just brushes off as trivial would haunt me until I dealt with them.
I’ll also bet that Phil will never update that pc, the drivers, or delete any game off the ssd. That poor pc is going to rot and suffocate in that office. What a waste.
Gets a prebuilt can be bothered doing a little research and prep work with old games when you can usually send frames to the moon. I love booting up old games and seeing how they interact with new hardware. Some game being tied to CPU speed is always a fun time. Leave it to Phil to boot up this masterpiece and utterly butcher it and not even try. While he is getting I mean "been gifted" a PS5 Pro and going to boot Forbidden West and Ragnarök...... THEY ARE ON PC WHICH YOU HAVE ACCESS TOO AND CAN DO WAY MORE THAN WHAT WOULD BE IN THE PRO! This guy is truly a case.
I loved F.E.A.R that was a brilliant game back in the day. it was written by Craig Hubbard and Richard Pearsey the person who wrote resident evil 7 Biohazard yes we all know the control where not up to scratch back in the day compared to nowadays. but it frighten the shit out of me when i was 13 years old just getting thrown through the window. DSP does not like video games he just like making money
He's the guy that kept recording raw tv gameplay instead of moving on to a capture card, that explains a lot of his failures and lack of preparation before hand, the dude just wakes up orders door dash go to his pc and hit start recording, there's no planning whatsoever on that chonk cranium of his.
I had the issue with the game too as I have a Logitech mouse. Was a quick and easy to install. Also had to limit my FPS in the Nvidia Control panel to 144 to fix some micro stuttering issues but I know all these things are such a herculean task for a dent head mouf drooler like Phil.| He should just go back to consoles and use that PC he has for streaming only.
In a few short months hes already put a bunch of crap on his rig that probably all starts on boot , i give the poor thing another year at most before it gives up
If i'm not wrong, i believe the "fix" for F.E.A.R running awful on modern systems is down to just disable V-sync and it's completely fine. Explaination i found is down to the game when it was made, was doing a time where the believe was, CPU's were gonna keep going up in mhz and not cores. So the V-sync does some goofy stuff to the performance.
@@SuddenFool No, this issue also existed with the original game. I had a Logitech G15 Keyboard at the time that caused the same problem. I had to disable Logitech HID in device manager to get the game working until the DirectInput fix became available.
@ProphetTech Huh interesting. Because i had logitech too back in like 2006-2010. And i just had to turn v-sync off and things were fine. Well computers are weird at times
Too much work dude don't have 14 hours. Also please give me $100 to take a shot of Scotch im a former alcoholic btw
hah
He never had scotch before and he took that 48% shot without any reaction. Sure Phil.
😆😆👏
DSP lost out on a great game, his loss.
I’m glad he couldn’t play it. I love FEAR and I really didn’t want to witness him fuck it up lmao.
The rail gun was well worth fixing this issue for dsp... the sticking enemies into the wall with the rails was sweet
I ripped this game when it came out and ran it on a pentium 4 with an ati 9700 pro... 😂 phil is so clueless

Big up.
You mean I have to move my mouse to play this game? Shit design DOOD!!

@SuddenFool I think it also came down to the USB port used and if was through a separate chipset.
I don't know about you, but I'm starting think Philly has never built a PC in his life.
Lol ofcourse he is not
@@jedinightwing801 He hit customize once while buying a prebuilt and thinks he built a PC.
Lmao runs it through logitech software. No surprises there.
