- Our 2021 Racing pigeons out for the first time! This is a compilation of the first 3 times the 2021 young birds (racing pigeons) were let out to fly. A lot an go wrong when letting racing pigeons out for the first time and thankfully this time everything worked out well. They did much better than my racing pigeon young bird team last year!!

Wouldn’t it be better if you moved your trap and landing board to the window facing the young bird section I think they will come out faster and trap better because they will be able to see the other birds in the loft eating
That is an excellent suggestion!! I originally put it in the middle because at the time I wasn’t sure which section I’d be flying out of. But you are absolutely right. Thanks for sharing and following!

Did you have a lot of common pigeons in your area that you know of at all because I really want to start flying my young birds I have raised but I have common pigeons everywhere around me and I mean like at least 1000 or more within 1 mile and father but it has me worried that they will just join up with them and that will be the end of them
@@Patelofts740 I don’t hear but when I flew in Tucson I sure did. Just keep your birds hungry and make sure they have had plenty of time sitting on the landing board in a settling cage or time in an aviary so they can see their surroundings. Good luck

I really need your help, I found a pigeon egg and Idk how to hatch it
Do you keep pigeons? It is possible to incubate it but once it hatches the first several days will be difficult to feed it. Pigeons produce a milk in their crop that they feed their Tiu for the fist several days. If it hatches you can try to feed it egg yolk from a chicken egg using a syringe. Good luck!!

Yes, I agree--Performance is the primary factor for stocking a bird. I have wanted to get some more of the spread gene integrated into my loft, so if this black 2021 youngster is a hen and physically up to par, I will probably put it back on Cup of Joe who is a Grandson of Joe Nemelka's Florian x Aarden2.
I understand I love the spread gene 🧬 too 😊: I plan on getting some black eagles eventually myself .
