I love Acuity products, I had their intake on my 9th gen SI and now I'm using their cable bushings and TPS on my K-swapped Del Sol. The quality, fitment and customer service from them is amazing.
Love the content keep it up. Their is a lot of guys out there that are so stuck up and don’t remember at one point they were a nobody and got to where they are at. Love the humbleness and the willing to give back.
Great video! I’m about to buy your 4 way shifter and base plate for my K swap civic! Cannot wait! Do you plan to make a video of the Acuity 4 way shifter in K swap application? Thanks!
This is actually a video of a similar build using that exact shifter (The 1937-4w for the RSX & K-Swaps) that we did a few months back: th-cam.com/video/fznYnE1DPnI/w-d-xo.html Not sure if that is what you were looking for, but hopefully it helps. Hoping you enjoy the new parts!
@@rgareh1 thanks for your reply! I was actually referring to the individual breakdown videos you have of all of your parts. You have a lot of videos for your newer generation civic shifters but it seems only these full car build videos highlight the k swap shifters! From doing all my research it seems the Acuity 4 way shifter is simply the BEST shifter you can buy right now in terms of quality and lack of play in the shifter mechanism itself. I can’t wait to REP Acuity!
Hey brother I love that setup I was wondering what cables would I have to run if I run the f k8 shifter box with the adapter bracket for the cable lines to use a Z3 trans what cables would I need for it to function or do I need to swap out the selector
To make the Z3 trans and FK8 shifter work in an EG, EK, or DC2 k-swap, you'll need Acuity SKU 1969 (link here: acuityinstruments.com/collections/all/products/10th-gen-civic-accord-shifter-cable-adapter-bracket-for-k20z3-transmissions). Check the "compatibility list" tab on that page and it will list the honda part #'s for the 2 different sets of cables that you can use with this setup. You'll also need a way to mount the FK8 shifter to the center tunnel. If you want a simple solution to that, consider Acuity SKU 1950 (link here: acuityinstruments.com/collections/frontpage/products/k20c-l15b-swap-shifter-adapter-plate-for-10th-gen-civic-shifters). Using these brackets and the cables listed on that page, you will be able to shift a z3 trans (with the stock selector mechanism) using any FK8-compatible shifter (OE, Acuity, or otherwise).
There are a lot of determining factors when choosing a 15 inch versus a 17 inch wheel. With a 17 inch wheel, there are more tire sizes available to find that optimal grip. 15's don't have that luxury, as the widest 200tw you can find is a 245 (I believe). When you increase the diameter of the wheel, you also will be decreasing your acceleration due to the increased rolling circumference, so the final drive and gearing will need to be addressed. For me, I chose a 15 inch wheel because I'm an old school type of guy and love the timeless look of a 15 inch wheel on an EG Civic.
It is called flocking. You use an adhesive undercoat spray that acts as the base color and allows for the little nylon fibers to be sprayed onto the undercoat, which gives it that cool matte look.
It’s my dream to build an eg track car and specifically a group c style eg as far as I know nobody has done a style like that with a hatchback and I’m determined to make it work and not only look badass but be functional as well. Idk if there’s many articles on hatchback aero out there but if anyone could help me out that’d be amazing. I don’t want the simple canards and splitter in the stock bumper, I know it’s functional but I want to go all out
This would be a great question for Brian at Hasport. Consider hopping on the @vtecacademy live stream (they do it once a week) and asking Brian this question. He's super friendly and helpful and would probably be able to give you the most thorough answer you could ask for.
Prefect thanks dude really trying to make this happen so all and any help will work at this point we already have 2 other k swap eg but stick and we wanted to go a different route on this one
Hands down some of the most humble guys I’ve ever meet. 🤙🤙🤙
Thanks so much for the love man!

We appreciate the love! We’re very grateful to work with such an awesome group of drivers. More content to come in 2022! Cheers 🙏
Building an awd tegy k20a2/k24a2 Frankie and considering some of these parts looks like he drives that car and stuff is holding up!
eva grateful ur one of these real yute...just keep what ur doing bro...
Thanks for the title. I’m glad eh2 is represented rather than everyone just hacking it by calling it a eg.
Awesome car dude, I like the color tone.
I been that dream"way before. Living the Dream hmm . . .
I was gonna go Ktuned but ACUITY is the way to go!
Wonderful
Great video, and love the car evan. Could you tell me what brand/type of tire you are using? Thanks!
Fun cars. I had a lot of trouble with TPS failure and I was never happy with the car under braking. An STU Miata could eat my lunch in braking zones.
Awesome video, what rpm do you take the k24 too on the track?
Docol R8 is the tubing for the cage, I had a feeling I got that wrong LOL.
Really like the livery

Awesome car and awesome driving! What front brake calipers and rotors do you have that fit under the 15” wheels?
Awesome!! What kind of wheels??
Konig Dekagram. Front is a 15x9 +35 with a 10mm offset, rear is a 15x7.5 with a +35 offset.

Up that performance and install a Fueltech 550. It will totally out perform the S300!
What do you think about using 15 inch vs 17 inc wheels (with the same width 9j for example)?

Anyone know what side skirts are on this? Looking for a similar set for a 95 prelude.
Curious as to what the material is on the dashboard

Would you be open to sale your hatch beauty?

Question does anyone know if the mount kit would fit a k20 automatic for a eg hatchback swap or of some shop or someone that can make one

What gearbox are you running?
I believe the case is an 8th Gen Si case, but not sure if the gearset or differential are modified/swapped. Hopefully Evan can chime in.
@@rgareh1 thank you. I like that shifter but you can't run that shifter with rsx box 😭
but what are the brakes?
Anyone knows.. whats the Instagram IG from this guy Owner of the EG Hatch.. nice car build.. pretty sweet fast car at the circuit.. .
@evanweider He's a super cool guy, very down to earth. Definitely worth a follow. :)
