Ambedkar was against Smriti and Stuti. He was not against Upanishads. He said hinduism should have only one set religious book, Upanishads. Noone listened to him, so he started exposing problems with Stuti and Smriti. Everyone who have read his writings couldn't disprove the facts he presented. He was a philosopher, scholar and humanist.

Sardar Patel of all Indians deserved Bharat Ratna first for having created Independent India, saving it from the chaos which the British had left.
But Dr.Ambedkar's record is mixed . He supported British rule, opposed Indian Independence, he opposed the nationalists and went out of his way to tease them when they were in jail after the Quit India announcement, and during the same period when they were in jail, he enjoyed British official patronage. He gave many good ideas, such as that Aryan Invasion was a myth, that Sanskrit should be the national language, that India should exchange its Muslim population with Pakistan, bringing all Hindus to India. Dr.Ambedkar is considered the 'architect' of the Constitution. That is not totally correct. The constitution was drafted by Sir B.N.Rau, a career bureaucrat with vast and varied experience. It fell to Dr.Ambedkar to pilot it in the Constituent Assembly. Does that make him "the architect'? .I think no. But it was he who suggested the name Bharat for India in the Constitution- the only Indian element there!. And by choosing Buddhism, a dharmic religion, for conversion, he snubbed the Abrahamic religions so strongly! He studied them for twenty years and understood them so deeply, as no other Indian leader ever understood. His writings on them are so full of historical insights. On balance, does he deserve Bharat Ratna? I wonder!

There are many who fought and died for India we don't know about. The South Kattabomman, Kavi Bharathiyar , Bengal Khudhiram, Binoy,Badil Dinesh, Netaji, Masterji Surjo Sen and so many more. Our History had been Distrorted to suit a particular Idiology and family. Indira Gandhi is not even a Gandhi, it was incorporated from Firoz Khan to be palatable to the Indian population at that time. It's all manipulation to fool the people and they succeeded.
With all those fancy degrees, he could have stayed abroad, but chose to come to India and work for his people and nation and you are making such biased allegations. Do you know it was him who fought for women rights? RBI was formed on his thesis and many more ideas he presented.
If Ambedkar is anything that is, he is still underrated.

Today they are doing it to Malala etc. It is basically to control the nation and bring it under their system of government. This is why West is not happy with China, Russia who run their own systems. If you read Indian philosophy, there is no need for women rights or volumes of Western laws / morality/ rights that we sheepishly follow today. Ambedkar was academically brilliant but still became a puppet of British as he couldn't see much beyond books and academics.

1st Bharat Ratna was not awarded to J Nehru, instead Radhakrishnan, Rajagopalachari & CV Raman. Nehru recieved it in 1955 July, and that too not by himself but by the then President Prasad. President has confessed it publicly that he acted unconstituionally by not recieving any recommendation from the PM or the Cabinet and yet awarding someone. This has all been documented well.
I believed what Swami Ji said at 1st but rechecked and found it to be untrue.

These qualifications are just education of the convenience, they are not jnana nor does it have anythinf to do with enhancing life in terms of consciousness. Anyone who prides themselves of their qualifications given by society etc and wish for an award are already uneducated as human beings. To be existantial means you don't focus on being educated on any particular field, you just perceive life by transcending physicality. Only that one can enhance the quality, the rest are all conveniences. If someone is a jnani, then they may perhaps be educated intelligence wise because the way foreign approached itself is just false education. The quality of life in the country doesn't become better with more degrees or any as such. It becomes better when realised yogi's direct it. Direction is more important than degrees, many are going no where fast. Because this is beyond rights or wrong or good or bad. How can anyone study law when the law itself is something that must be altered as per situation by somebody beyond social inclinations? Reality is always changing so existantial people did not seperate human laws from the cosmic one. It aligned. Packing infofmation is not education. Im not supporting nehru neither is ambedkar a great one

Truth is he rejected hinduism long back. He burned Manusmriti before meeting Nehru. He faced a lot of intolerences from the high caste Hindus at those times.. ( These were wonderfully shown in his Biopic).
2. Nehru and Bharat Ratna... Why Sardar Patel was not given first... As per the original statutes, Bharat Ratna was not given posthumously... Patel died in 1950, and Bharat Ratna was started in 1954. If Nehru wanted Bharat Ratna that badly, he could have conferred that on himself during 1954 itself.
But, yes, Patel and Ambedkar could have been awarded the Bharat Ratna much earlier. That is true.

Swamy may be an educated man; so Am I!!! He is lying here openly when he says the first Bharat Ratna was given to Nehru and Nehru had himself said he was awarding it to himself. Swamy is a lier!! He must go through the archives of TOI and other newspapers of the day following the award of Bharat Ratna to Nehru. Nehru had just returned from a European tour; after his arrival the then President Rajendra Prasad had hosted a banquet for Nehru and other leaders. In that banquet the President made the announcement that he was conferring the Bharat Ratna on Nehru. This was a surprise to everyone including Nehru, because the Rashtrapathi Bhawan had kept it under wraps. In fact, during the banquet Dr. Rajendra Prasad told the media that he had made "an unconstitutional decision" by deciding on his own to confer the award on Nehru; because, according to law it is the PM who recommends the names for award which the President confers. Dr. Prasad said in that case because it was the then sitting PM who had to be conferred, and since Nehru would never confer it upon himself, he, the President, decided on his own to confer the award. He even went to the extent of clarifying that neither the PM nor his cabinet had made any recommendation for the Award. All this appeared in the leading newspapers of the day like HT, TOI and others. Mr. Swamy who claims to talk on facts must go to the archives and check the facts. He is also lying when he says Nehru was the first to get the Bharat Ratna award which he had instituted. Before Nehru, Dr. S Radhakrishnan, Rajagopalachari, Sir C V Raman and Bhagwan Das all got it before Nehru in 1957. Mr. Swamy should be ashamed of himself walking around with a PhD and lying through his nose!!!! This is why he has achieved next to nothing either in economics or politics or in anything. He has just been scavenging the dirt of other people!!!!
