You can do that, but use distilled water. Remove the radiator cap and pour distilled water into the radiator until full. Replace the cap, then start up the vehicle and let it run for 10 to 15 minutes. This will work the distilled water into the engine, flushing out any loose debris or corrosion along with the last of the old antifreeze. It’s important to watch your engine heat and be ready to turn off the engine if it starts warming above C. Also don’t actually drive the vehicle, just idle. Then add your coolant per the manual capacity recommendation.
A typical drain and fill takes 1.3 gallons, but I would have more on hand to be safe. Your manual also has the capacities listed. You basically stop when the fluid is no longer being pulled into the system, as is shown in this video.
Love the tutorial. Some may want to check if they can crack the wing nut from the top to avoid jacking the cad. Also as a noob, I find crawling on the floor to ensure I aligned with the jack pt helpful
thankyou for taking the time to make a good one
Simple n easy tutorial. Just what I needed to do for this coming summer time. Got yourself a sub!

How much litres it takes to fill completely?
If I want to superflush the system, I just need to run water through it 2-4 times right?

Close the cap at bottom once empty before putting in coolant in burpee?
You didn’t have to fill from the reservoir?

How do you know how much coolant to add and when to stop ?

Solid video

Why did you fill the reservoir fluid before you did the drain and fill????
Because the reservoir is ‘overflow’
Thanks I’m gonna do mine hehe
How often would you do this
30,000 miles
I can't build a shelf from Ikea.
Cars are just nuts and bolts bud.
