This man needs way more recognition for the quality of his craft that he puts out for us to enjoy. Keep the videos rolling Jay, you’ll be at 100,000 Subscribers by the end of the ice season I guarantee it
It’s our hidden secret. Glad you discovered it. Watched you guys filming this from my home! Wondered who it was cuz it’s rare to have people in front of our place! You guys were so focused on the fishing...you missed us hot tubbing-naked!
EPIC video JAY!!!! EPIC! You capture the excitement!! I don't know how many times I get talking with my buddies and not watching the "ducer or the dead stick and there is action! You have shown that many times in your other vid's!! Thanks for sharing!!
I thought I was the only one to put fish on a stringer while ice fishing. Pro tip: bleed your fish out and send them back into the water 20 minutes before you’re ready to clean them. Makes it much cleaning to fillet and the meat comes out a lot whiter. I do the same in open water season
it's amazing to watch the fish on the sonar/flasher. This past winter i bought the Helix 7 and i bet half the fish i caught were because i was able to see a fish and i could work it. Amazing tool!!
Once again an awesome video. I'm new to ice fishing and absolutely love it. I love the excitement you have on every video you do. Also glad to see you reel with your right hand, I take a ribbing from my friends. Great size fish, thanks very much for sharing. Tight lines
Jesus would be the only one able to be walking on the lakes here in southern Ontario, You guys are so lucky! Always nice when you hang in for the long haul and manage to score big instead of a skunk. Great video Jay!
Satisfying fishing and creative cooking! Great job! From quebec, feels weird to see poutine taking over the world. Only a couple years ago people from outside quebec were making weird faces when I told them about this meal.
Great video jay. Josh is always cooking up something amazing and making me hungry 👌 cant wait to get out there and put to use the dinner bells I just got in
Also, i made my 1st fish finder setup out of the same ammo box as marcel, buy the Garmin bundle man, you'll love it! it's worth the money *edit* Just saw he had a hummingbird, I'm sure they make something too
Jays moving on up with that Yeti sponsorship. In every video for the last few there has been a strategically places yeti cooler or other objects in the background with the logo very visible.
How far of a drive is it from kenora to lake Manitoba? Is it something you can do in a day. Do you also have to get a Manitoba fishing license or is your Ontario good?
@@mr.happyfunguy3772 Happy Thanksgiving. Walleye are actually the easiest fish to catch in our waters. I have a trophy fishery six miles from my house. I am very thankful for that.
Is it legal to cook/ eat fish on the lake, I remember seeing a video, guy got charged for cleaning consuming a fish lunch on ice. That could have been in the states but just thought I would ask. Awesome vid though!
Hey guys i'm just getting into ice fishing and am looking at buying a flasher. Can anyone help me out and give me advice on a good one, not too expensive or fancy as i'm just a beginner. Thanks!
I am not getting notifications for any of the outdoor channels I sub to, it’s not even showing up in my subscription tab. Anyone else have that going on?
What u see. When there showing the flasher as it is called you have the top. Then the bottom. Anything inbetween is either your jig/ baitfish/fish the bigger the line and more color means strong signal or big fish
@@lundprov4344 I still dont know you've explained it in a very confusing way and all I can interpret is the middle is your bait but I still dont know how they can tell when there is a fish

Watching at work👌🤟
Growing up we had a cabin on the North basin and loved it but unfortunately it gets commercial fished hard.
Two things! One - do you have trouble with the braid freezing when outside? Two - where can we get that recipe? We'd LOVE to tray that!
Yummmmmmmmmmm

You do such a great job with cinematic videography. Any tutorial videos down the road?
lol bet you someone will be pissed.. #Secretspot hahaha
where'd you get the dinner bell spoons
Nice video Jay 👍. Not a lot of walleye fishing where I'm at but it looks like a lot of fun
How do you get into the south basin?Route?
Killed it last year in sugar point lots of 20-24 inchers
Damn Jay, you’re boujee with that Yeti bucket haha
How much does a Yeti bucket cost???
@@joshrogers358 $40 rip off
Hey Jay. Do you know if you’re able to drive onto Lake Manitoba south basin or is it walk on access only?
Hey Scott, not sure. I think there trucks out there. Always use extreme caution when driving on the ice.
Was at Delta today from 8am to 1pm was very slow ice is at 25" in most places
Where abouts were you guys walking out
Once you understand the flasher its the best,
What kind of mic you use jay?
What oil did you use to deep fry the wantons?
It's funny how many people stop fishing at dark. I do 80% of my walleye fishing after dark.
Scott I’ve never caught a Walleye, but I liked your comment because Happy Thanksgiving.

There is already enough ice up there for trucks?
Great vid Jay! What reels are you using and size? Just ordered a True Grit and need to pair it up!
Look like shimano 500s that’s what I run $100 well spent

You can cook on the ice, it is important to clean up and bring back any scraps.
Nice! If I wasn't 17 hours drive from the poo, i'de join ya.
Walleyes 'a' plenty.

oooooh
Ever poop in one of them ice holes?

Who else noticed when Jay says something about the fish. They copy what he says, like "chunky monkey" "chunky monkey" lol
Can someone explain the color wheel that marks bites?

Commercial Ice fishing.... you mean the whole lake isn’t frozen right? Haha
