Just a lil dab to give oil a bit0cling. The oil conditioner works for long storage, parked equipment. I use the stop leak also for micro seaps . No need to go excessive in cool weather with either one. My dip sticks never rust. Always quick starts with no rattle! Lucas gas clean prevents injector drewel also! All motors love to cuddle! Lol

My first pepsodent experience sent me into a serious toddler gag fit. Big bubba said the adverts over use. Lucas is a lil dab will doo ya! I use 10% or less. Just enough to see a bit on a cold dip stick. 250sd 2000 has a micro alum head crack. Now just warm up before a heavy haul and no leak for a year now. A little heavier oil with over 200000 miles. Give it a swig o lucas. No leaks, no lifter rattles.
This is a solvent based product. It inflates seals and O-rings very quickly for a short time. But if these seals are deformed or cracked, this product will not make them recover their original shape, the leak will persist and will even increase by causing them to break in pieces. If the seal has been eaten by friction, this product will not recover the material it has lost.
For small leaks, it should help. For bigger leaks, I don't think there is much it can do. If the gaskets are too far gone, then they need to be replaced.
Someone I know said after 700 kilometers it slowed the leak but after 6000 kilometers the leaking stopped completely, u have to use the stop leaking product on ur oil change so u add it and can get the ultimate benefit after a while
dude the wind and turbulence under the car will blow oil all over everything and place so you cannot tell where it is coming from! BTW Lucas Stop leak does not work!! just a thick heavy weight oil that flows or leaks at a slower rate.....STP oil will work just as good at 1/3 the cost simple as that
Yes, I have seen videos of their regular filters which look like garbage. The full synthetic ones seemed much better. I have switched to K&N now, so hopefully, it's all good.

Seems like the cardboard worked better than the Lucas
Yes, you are correct! I should just leave the cardboard under the car indefinately, might fix the problem.
😂 I’m a firm believer duct tape and cardboard fixing .

Do not forget to check for loose or busted bolts. Gaskets sneaking out will tattle!

I gently snug valve cover bolts. Helps old rigs.
I have a moderate leak in my 2000 Ford Taurus. Unfortunately Lucas didn't work at all for me. The thickness had me worried, too..
I ended up replacing the valve cover gaskets which helped, but I still have a leak coming from somewhere. Just need to track it down.
it works!

Good point, I don't know if these seals have suffered loss, or are just hard. Possibly both considering the age of the car.
Could be the head gasket leaking externally. Subarus have issues with leaky head gasket after 100k miles
Anything is possible with this car, it has a pile of miles on it.
Is it really work
For small leaks, it should help. For bigger leaks, I don't think there is much it can do. If the gaskets are too far gone, then they need to be replaced.
Maybe because the drive way is not level that’s why it leaks oil So when the wife park her vehicle there it leaks oil not in the garage it’s level.
@@TT-oo9te Very possible, I guess it depends on where the leak is coming from.
maybe you should flip the cardboard to the clean side? and then you will have a more clear image of what is going on?
Possibly, although the other side was probably worse.
You have to use it for 3 oil changes and it will stop all oil leaks it doesn't work on the first try
Ah, good point. I should read the instructions closer. I'll give that a try, thanks!
Someone I know said after 700 kilometers it slowed the leak but after 6000 kilometers the leaking stopped completely, u have to use the stop leaking product on ur oil change so u add it and can get the ultimate benefit after a while
you should clean the engine bay after pouring the Lucas Oil
I would, but I'm afraid that may be all that is holding the car together.
Did you drive the car for 200 miles
Yes, I put it in just before an oil change and drove it for a week or two. It helped, but some of the gaskets were just too far gone
dude the wind and turbulence under the car will blow oil all over everything and place so you cannot tell where it is coming from! BTW Lucas Stop leak does not work!! just a thick heavy weight oil that flows or leaks at a slower rate.....STP oil will work just as good at 1/3 the cost simple as that
I've never tried the STP stuff, I'll have to give it a shot, thanks!
My rear main seal leak was too much for lucas it had no affect. Off to my mechanic! uugh!!
I think it's only effective on seeps... at least that's my experience.
Beware of using Fram Oil filter. Do some research and see what I mean
Yes, I have seen videos of their regular filters which look like garbage. The full synthetic ones seemed much better. I have switched to K&N now, so hopefully, it's all good.
Yea correct on that, Purolator's 👍
