Lq Molydosent work on automatic ugg I switched my oil to Moly I hope it's good? The cost quite a bit more than Castro! Oil it's says that this oil lubricate engine components I sure hope so
As a Leak Seal it Works but you need to drive the car for 40 Miles but for Engine Performance I recommend Seafoam In Gas Tank and Throttle Body Spray(Intake)
If it's a small leak then blue devil should. It turns into glass in the leak after the liquid evaporates. It's brittle and shatters if scraped off but if left alone it is also as hard as metal sealing the crack
@@mikequinlan3308 No that's the motor oil saver, the oil leak stop states on their website Application The product can be added at any time. After adding, run the engine until warm or drive the vehicle. Sealing first takes place after about 600 to 800 km of driving. To guarantee a lasting effect, we recommend adding Pro-Line Oil Leak Stop after each oil change.
@@jackrussel853 I thought it was basically the same stuff. The graphic on the can is identical. I see there is a Pro-Line version and it does say you can use it every oil change. Seems contradictory, and I worry that it might overswell the seals if used repeatedly. The Oil Saver has been beneficial for greatly reducing leaks in my Subura engine.
@@mikequinlan3308 Yes there are three of them which all look similar, the motor oil saver which i've just added as i think my valve stem seals are leaking but then realised by the time i've spent £130 on fuel to see if it works i'd just as well put that towards the repairs, then there's the stop smoke for high mileage cars which i gather basically does the same thing but think it concentrates more on cleaning the rings etc and then there's the stop leak which is just meant to stop bad leaks, a little confusing hence why i also bought the stop smoke 😂
Stop leak does not work good (or even not at all) with hyper modern rubber seals, the brown and blue ones are Viton or Neoprene seals...they are resistent. Stop seal works best with BUNA (synthetical black rubber seals = NBR) On vintage cars with NBR rubber gaskets most stop leak additives work pretty well.
yup cheap and does the job and they have a whole assortment of things. i usually go with the Oil stop #3 in this video and Ceratec on every oil change just to be safe
@@ShyRage1 no it's not on amazon. This completely worked for me - no more front differential inner seal leak and no more crankcase oil leak!! Those repairs cost THOUSANDS in labor! I'm thrilled. I just got a reman transmission and I ordered the Titan Seal transmission products also - but my previous transmission was totally fried. So I never used the transmission stop leak and gear saver. I was told there's no shelf life for these products. So I'll just a transmission flush every 10,000 miles and stay under 5000 rpm - and in a worse case scenario I'll add in the Titan transmission products. There's only a 1 year warranty on the transmission so... thanks
This video simply states product 'claims' from the suppliers, NOT any facts relating to friction, O-Ring reaction and other tests to support their claims. You can do better than this , guys!
Project farm channel has the best reviews where he actually tests them. It's worth watching.
Do you put it in the same place as you put oil
yes
So you are saying the Lucas stop leak is not good for a diesel engine???

Chevrolet car optra 1.6 elite 2005 gas ket leak . Is this works ?
Guys it works with synthetical oil

Would like to use something like this for my oil leak….but frightened it will block my oil feed pipe to my turbo….any suggestions.
They dont block anything! LOL GHIS IS 21ST CENTURY!
Any know??? Is Liqui molly..good for stop leak for TD motors?
You Can Try
Can you combine two different oil sealers ?
Yes we can. which tow do you want to compare?
@@ReviewInfinitein best case scenarios we hope to not have to tow the engine - so, if it’s safe, compare using bars leak and valvoline leak seal

So stop leak additives are really only a temporary fix?
@stpaulimdog ... well ... NOTHING in this life is permanent soooooooooo yeah it is safe to say even a replacement part is still ... TEMPORARY

Liqui Moly state Oil Leak Stop needs 600-800km to take effect and for a lasting effect they recommend adding it after each oil change.
Actually no. They recommend using a bottle every 20,000 to 30,000 KM

@Mike Quinlan interesting 8 was thinking
What do you mean by "overswelling" seals?
Is Lucas ok to use for a motorcycle as well? I would need it for my ktm !
I believe it is look 👀 at the bottle I believe it works for cars trucks bikes and boats.
Yes you Can use it.

Great for Northstar engines where the seals leak over time.

Your right!..they need the guy that did all the drive in concession stand foods between movies in the late 50s
I wouldn't put LUCAS IN ANYTHING I OWN just thickens the oil like STP.
I have Variable Valve timing and lucas made the MPG go way down. It clogs up VVT and so should not be used for VVT engines.
I don't any reviews, just a bot reading advertising material.
