Stay at home, work multiple jobs if ya have to and dont leave until ya got at least 10,000 in the bank. Stop living check to check folks.

    • @austindavis730
      @austindavis730 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @bgt125 don't go work at Walmart bruh. Those people do that cause they choose not to do anything else. If they are force to do that then they have to become dedicated to put at least a $100 up a check that give you either 5,200 or $2,600 by the end of the year that enough to give you a few months of rent to get out and make something happen in those few months bruh. I ain't t saying it easy but you gotta take a chance or risk some people don't want to do that so that's why they stuck in that place. Hell my mom had three kids by 22 she was single and she still became a lawyer and now she a director at big company as well. She stuck to her plan and made it happen while putting three kids through private school. Some go hard and do it and some make excuses.

    • @juanitat.5143
      @juanitat.5143 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NoMoreDaysOff I don't think he's saying planning is a bad idea. The problem comes in when financial literacy is billed as the cure all for financial woes in the Black community. You have to have something left to invest and many Americans, especially Black ones are living paycheck to paycheck. That's not a reflection of poor planning, it's a reflection of systemic and persistent racism. This system was not built for masses of us to succeed financially. Just like many Whites benefit from generational wealth, many of us are disadvantaged by generational poverty. Ignoring those factors does many of the hardworking Black folks I know who were born and died broke a big disservice. It's a slap in the face, actually.

      Juanita T. I understood perfectly what he said. He’s a victim and disrespectful in his comments. When disrespect starts,my conversation ends. There’s no need to go back and forth with rude people on the internet. Plus I stand by my comment. Those who fail to plan,in all areas of life plan to fail. Regardless of the trials and tests.

    Black people are slowly getting into the position to generate generational wealth. History shows you that Black People have not been in this position to long, due to history and facts. One of the wealthiest Black neighborhoods was burned down so all that “saving” was lost. Even if you don’t want to see it racially, you can see it as class. Study shows if you are born poor, you have a higher chance to stay poor. Financial literacy has to be taught and learned and not much of that happens, because you don’t have enough financial people, acces to education, and etc. going on in these neighborhoods. Those who obtain the money usually don’t put it back into the neighborhoods. How can people save money when most of what they make has to be contributed to living day to day?
    Not saying it’s impossible, but Vlad and others have to understand context.

    I'm not even going to watch this because I already know that Vlad is out the pocket. I just came to leave a comment. Most black families don't have any money left to save after responsibilities are taken for. It's not a matter of just not saving. You can't save what you don't have in the first place. Zero plus zero is zero. I know Vlad said some really stupid shit on hear and I haven't even let me he video play. Retirement is not something looked at as attainable for most black people. That shit doesn't exist for many people.

    His interview was good and he seems to be a very good businessman but just a few years ago, Mr. Knowles was behind on child support for his son. Not only that he said his income was drastically reduced and he had a high overhead and could not afford the high child support payments. The court ended up reducing it to next to nothing for him. Plus after Beyonce released him as her manager, he claimed he was struggling financially as well. My question is, when did he acquire all of these investments he speaks of???? If it was during his time as B’s manager we should have never heard of the financial struggle stories whether it was rumors or not. If he got the assets after being fired as her manager, how was he struggling financially while buying these income producing assets. Doesn’t add up to me. The child support case was a fact because that went to court. Whether he struggled financially after being released as B’s manager could be a rumor or not. Either way things aren’t adding up. I can’t take someone seriously about finances and investing when they are on record as not having paid child support. That’s just me though? Thoughts????

      There is a difference between assets and liquidity.

    • @beedebawng2556
      @beedebawng2556 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also there could be a reason why he didn't want to make those child support payments.
      Either way I don't know what his financial status is. I'm OK with that. What matters to me is whether what he's saying would improve my financial circumstance if I applied it.
      Furthermore, the media has been saying for years that Allen Iverson is broke, but yet AI is still out here with a foundation organizing free basketball camps for high-school basketball players.

    The poor people I see in the United States have smart phones and Jordan's. You have money that you could save, you just don't have your priorities straight. I'm not saying it's easy, I'm not saying life is fair, I'm not saying inequality isn't real, but I'm saying that 99.9% of people spend disposable income on stuff that they don't need. Even poor people rent movies and buy brand name food and clothing. Lots of people smoke weed and drink too. Stop acting like your ass isn't responsible at all. Sure, there are some people that have ZERO extra money and they walk around with holes in their clothes and they only get to eat a few times a week, but that is not true for the majority of people in the hood. This is coming from someone who grew up poor, I'm not out of touch. The majority of poor people in America waste money on stupid shit. Again I'm not saying there isn't a whole lot of bullshit in this country. There's a lot of unfairness and corruption, but stop acting like EVERYONE in the hood is starving. If you have ZERO extra shit, then fine, you can complain about being truly poor. But if you or your parents aren't saving money and you have nikes on and you ate out recently then shut the fuck up.

    Simply saving is not enough, if that's what you want to use for retirement. By increasing the money supply they devalue the money that you have already saved. It's called inflation. Essentially we should care for our elders when they can no longer work and in turn our children should care for us.

  • @grod805
