Great video as always Jimmy. Life is very much too short. a few weeks ago, one of my brothers was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer metastasized to his brain. he is fighting but man, it makes you realize how much anger takes away from you over the years. Making it work should apply to so many things in life! Love your philosophy of this. Have an amazing weekend.
Yeah I think some of the water based materials give manufacturers trouble. I remember GM trucks being really bad in the late 90’s. Surprised to see this on one of the fairly new vehicles.
Torqued at 252 TH-cam foot-pounds. Wow, even more broken Toyota's. Better be glad I'm not at that front desk talking with customers. Keep rowing Jimmy!
Nothing worse than customers that come in and want to wait while asking you to figure out a complex problem you're unfamiliar with.. you remember when if you wanted auto work done you'd drop the car and keys off in a mailbox etc and they'd pick it up in 2-3 days.. just about every week I get someone who wants me to do their brakes and struts on their lunch break.. oh and it has to be on the cheap..
Oh my Lord the 32K mile Lexus.. you'd THINK they'd be willing to approve at least some of the maintenance and repairs to a car preserved that well.. typical used car "part" dealer..
@@JimmyMakingitwork That air filter was disgusting and probably was original like you said.. People do the same with moldy cabin filters.. So the A/C compressor was losing it's clutch ground? You bumped the screw/connector and it started working, guessing he didn't want the conversion finished either.
On that Toyota sunroof, are you sure that isn't a new feature to relieve stress when you encounter bad drivers? I mean, I wish I could push a button and have a cool machine gun sound in heavy traffic, or after being cut off...🙂🤨
I can’t believe they declined the brake job ! That thing is heavy and needs new parts to be as safe as possible.. not pad slap like it’s a cavalier. 😂 Have a great weekend ! I’m already into a strong 5.9%iced tea 😁
Wow everything is too expensive says the guy frim Jersey. Go figure. The minute you knew he was from jersey should have taken the car off the rack and sent him on his way.
I had my morning coffee in FL. On the beach This morning but crossed back over to Al. Thanks for taking us along…..
Very cool! Thanks Spanky!

Thanks Kathy. So sorry to hear this. Have to fight, but it’s never easy.
You got the best price I could find on that funnel. I can’t believe a funnel costs $30 though!
Yeah, it is a handy funnel but a bit expensive for sure.
Thanks
Sounds like the new Tundra is running good. 🙂🙂
Oh yeah, just over 1,000 miles and once we get back from the long weekend we’ll do the first oil change.
Thanks for the video Jimmy!
The Subaru project has passed inspection, there's just the AC to sort out before summer now!
That is awesome to hear! A couple loose ends and it’s ready for all seasons! :)
Jimmy got his 45🔫 in this week , have a good week end buddy
Haha thanks OB. Hope you have a great weekend!
Have seen problems with remanufactured a/c compressors too.Put one in and goes bad the next day.New is the only way to go
Yeah, there is a lot of hit and miss in our industry when it comes to parts.
The paint on the roof of the RAV4 is a factory defect. My daughter has one that has 230000 miles and the roof is the same.

Haha, littering the roads basically! ;)
I have great luck with salvage yard parts. BUT ac compressors, not so much.
Yeah, we rarely install a used AC compressor but still about a 50% success rate.
The F150 is really dry underneath for high mileage
Yeah it is pretty clean for sure under there.

Yeah, I was really surprised he declined an air filter. Especially after showing so much concern that we check it. :/

@@COBRO98 Yeah, he declined everything we mentioned. He said he loves his car and maintains it 100%, with a 30 year old air filter, lol. Smh
It doesn't need an access panel because its a Toyota, they never break. . . .
lol, nailed it.

Rofl, that is a good use for it!
Yeah you should take my silverado and give that tundra to me it will humble you.... im already humbled 😅😅😅😅
Haha, new Silverado would be my next choice. ;)
ah what are you gonna do, right
Exactly
But Toyotas don’t breakdown 😂
Hahaha, junk.
I like the way that you took it on the chin regarding the Pontiac PS leak. There were no excuses, you just made it right. Good going!
Thanks 👍 always try my best and sometimes a problem arises, just have to own it. :)

My thoughts exactly…

Thanks, keep rowing, have a great day!
Jimmy needs some upgraded electrical testing equipment 😁I will shoot you an email
Haha thanks I’ll look for it.
switching to guns
Nice
customerstates is to expensive. jimmy some of these people should ride a bicycle . maybe they could afford that when it brakes 🤦.
lol, yeah some people seem to think that everyone should be $20 to repair.
Wow everything is too expensive says the guy frim Jersey. Go figure. The minute you knew he was from jersey should have taken the car off the rack and sent him on his way.
lol, driving that ultra low mileage Lexus but not wanting to spend a penny extra. Doesn’t seem to go together.
