For the big boys, a car to bring to unknown areas, it seems that this is about quality and durability, simple but tasteful. sorry, but did you really say Koblenz from 'western germany'?? come on, mate! We're reunited for 30 years now. There's really no reason to make any difference between the former two parts. Now it's germany, just like that and no eastern or western. Just like nobody is using the term of Yugoslavia anymore. Thanks and best wishes from Germany (!!) -_-
Steve, I feel bad about correcting your English, particularly as you write it far better than I write German. However I clearly say 'western' Germany, the same way as I say for example Hobby vans are manufactured in northern Germany and Hymer in southern Germany. No-one returns to Northern Korea but North Korea. I did not say West Germany as it was until 1990 but western as it still is!
@@VanlifewithAlan th-cam.com/video/LlqFex_O3W0/w-d-xo.html I guess he ment that. Though western Germany is just the part in the most west, which is actually true for Koblenz.
Your description of build is better than company website
Thanks Ray!
I leave this under every video I watched, it helps the algorithm

If you don't mind 60 MPH maximum speed on the highway....
It is more than that in Europe - 88mph in Poland for example and some motorways in Germany don't have a speed limit.
@@VanlifewithAlan the unimog can only make up to 60MPH
Anything faster in a truck of this weight and size would be extremely irresponsible and dangerous.
