- Brazil completed a hat-trick of victories over Chile at the FIFA World Cup™ by beating their South American rivals 3-0 to set up a mouthwatering quarter-final meeting with the Netherlands.
Dunga's side took control of the Round of 16 contest with two goals in quick succession in the last ten minutes of the first half through Juan and Luis Fabiano. Robinho added the third to inflict further punishment on the Chileans.

I have to say that, apart from their second half collapse against the Dutch, this Brazilian team was not bad. They were pragmatic yes, but the didn't completely ditch the beautiful game. And I think they would have given the Germans a run for their money, unlike the team of 2014, who were completely annihilated by the Germans.

Que mal por Bielsa, justo antes de la copa se lesionó Humberto Suazo. Realmente no llegó a la copa. Además, venía sin fútbol, porque estaba lesionado desde Marzo del 2010 tras un choque con Sergio Ramos. El goleador de las clasificatorias sudamericanas a Sudáfrica 2010 quedó fuera. Luego, en la tabla creo que venía Salvador Cabañas. Que maldicion.

This world cup has great memories for me.....painful ones too. Liked this woman who backed Argentina and the elf. Brazil played excellently until the second half of the Holland match. My parents, brother and I sat down to watch the quater final as fanatical Brazil supporters. And did nothing for the rest of the day. Was so depressing

I really don't think the current Brazilian team can go deep in the World Cup. I mean they can with the potential that they have but it really hard to imagine succeeding without Kaka, Robinho, Maicon, Fabiano, Melo, and others.

This Brazil squad was not bad at all. Should have picked Ronaldinho though. When Elano got injured in the Ivory Coast match, they were slightly short of ideas in midfield. The referee also played a big role in the Dutch match.

Nunca fui fan de chile pero se murió porque brazil defendió y salió al contraataque donde mataban a chile, esa selección sub 23 era mucho mejor que la que gano las 2 copas América y la del mundial 2014, tenían habilidad mucho juego, osados y lograron darle buen partido a Brasil y España que eran muy superiores a sus escuadras del mundial 2014

Dn't think so, this was a graet team. If we had Marcelo in the mid we would've been all set, Bastos wasen't used to his position. Than agaen we lost to Netherlands from a silly mistake of our defence over all i really liked that team...
