- I realize it's hard to resist the temptation to continue to add to the build with the latest and greatest, but the reality is its very expensive and there is certainly a point of diminishing returns. Hopefully, I can share some of the things that I have done and equipment I have purchased so you can determine what works best for you. I don't know if what I have is the right choice for everyone, but I am pretty satisfied that what I have works for me.
I always seem to be shopping for new, hopefully better camp and recovery gear. I have gone through quite a few items in ultimately coming up with this loadout. So far, it's working well, so I am going to share it with you all.
For this video, I am going to focus on the gear and equipment part of this build and not so much the performance aspect of the Jeep Wrangler. My "Build Sheet" video goes into the details of the Jeep and this will be focused on what makes it a more capable camper.

I sure do enjoy your videos. You’re a natural behind the camera and I never feel like I’m watching an ad. Thanks for taking the time to put videos like this together. Cheers.
It's easy when you your talking about what you are passionate about. Thanks for watching.
@@exhaustinglife One last question - I see you used a spacer in between your backbone and GFC crossbars. Did you just want to raise the RTT a bit higher for freedom panel access or was there a more specific reason you used the spacer?
@@RhinoOverland Great question. The spacer is required as the JL hardtop is a lot more curved than you might suspect, even more so than the JK. At the center "peak" of the roof its only 0.25" from the top and to avoid contact with the bottom of the GFC Platform RTT, those spacers are a necessity especially with the 3 bar set-up.
Additionally the clearance just so happens to allow for Freedom panel removal too - nice bonus.
Great Video! Love to see what i am missing in my jeep.
Thanks John. You know how it is ... buy and try.
I love your set up, Makin me want to go campin !
Let's Go!
@@exhaustinglife I’m comin up to dv8 in riverside for bumper scan soon ! I’ll hit u up maybe show me around 🤙
Awesome! Better be prepared than not. I might have missed it but I was curious do you have a first aid kit? Provide the time on the video so I can fast forward to it. Thanks!
Thanks and yes. I have a very basic kit and have been in the market for something better.
I keep it handy in the lower drawer of the Camp Kitchen @ 7:03. It's the black bag kit in the right upper corner. I'm always up for recommendations for a good kit if you have any.
@@exhaustinglife
I have one from mymedic
Great Video! I'm interested the Rhino-Rack Molle Panel. Is that out now? Do you have a link? Thanks
I am still waiting for their official release info. Yes the are being built but no, they are not to market yet. Tell them I sent you! customerservice@rhinorack.com
@@exhaustinglife This was the response from Rhino-Rack "Hello, Thank you for reaching out to Rhino Rack. This panel was a prototype and is not currently in production. At this time, we do not have plans to produce this panel and release it for sale. I do apologize for any inconvenience."
@@C-NoelI appreciate the update but am a little heartbroken. It is a really good product for a prototype but I'll have to call my contact there to see what's up. Thanks for the info.
What is the brand name of car diagnostic scanner code?
INNOVA 5610 - OBD2 Bidirectional Scan Tool.
This is one of their most feature laden handheld scanners and offers much more than just read and clear functions.
