You did a way better job at doing this than me. To think that i only managed to kill 296 mudokons with a fly hack, yet you managed to go beyond 300 with only in-game glitches👏 Though you could have very easily raised this number to 312. If you clip yourself to the secret, underneath the door to Soulstorm Brewery and killing these 3 mudokons before entering Slig Barracks/Bonewerks. After your visit to Slig Barracks/Bonewerks, go back to the secret entrance, and you'll see the 3 mudokons respawn, then you can kill them again. This trick can be repeated twice, therefore you can raise the kill count to 312.
Thanks man, I'll have to take a look at your video too! About increasing the kill count like that: that is actually the single glitch we decided to ban for this category. No mudokon duplication, in other words no killing the exact same mudokon game object more than once. Why did we ban this? Because those 3 muds you described aren't the only muds you can respawn. You can make a whole bunch of muds respawn, and most of them can even be respawned forever. Take the 10 muds right after Aslik for instance. You can kill all 10 and then (using glitches) enter that area again and kill all 10 again. And then again. And again. In other words: if we allow mudokon duplication, the maximum kill count would be infinite. That's obviously a problem, so we decided to ban mudokon duplication as a whole.
@@creepykoala7255 Huh, didnt know that. But i assure you, you cant do this infinetely. There is actually a limit to it and its 999. If you save/kill over 999 mudokons, the game will crash, especially at a layer with a status board shown.
@@AliTheMudokon Fair enough, but I think we can both agree that killing 306 different muds is more interesting than just killing the same couple of muds over and over until you reach that arbitrary score of 999.
@@kapteeni13 Ah yes. That's a trick I indeed use many many times throughout the run. So here's what you do. 1. (quick)save in the room on the left 2. move up to the barricade 3. press pause and quickload (Esc and f6 for me) at almost the exact same time. I've been told it's a 1-frame window 4. now the menu should pop up, and you choose Quicksave 5. the camera gets desynced from abe and the barricade unloads 6. move to the right. this will bring the camera back to abe and load the barricade again, but at that point abe is already past it Effectively this corrupts your save file, and sort of brings you back to the last save you made, except that abe's coordinates remain constant. This kind of save file corruption is used a LOT in this route, over 75 times actually.

306?! Mindblown. 🤯
How is that slam door / door skip done? Something with quicksaves i assume.
Which skip do you mean? Can you give me a timestamp?
@@creepykoala7255 There are many. But as example how did you do the 00:02:45 one?
