Most Harbor freight's will be pretty lenient with the rules around the paid warranties, because associates get 5-10% of the cost of the warranty as commission (99.99 warranty is 5-10$ commission), so we don't care as long as we get the commish, but in a lot of cases it works out well for the consumer (i.e. someone who buys and modifies and destroys lots of engines) to have unconditional replacements. I used one of these vanguard motors for my sons jr drag bike project and the first thing that broke was the valve train. Hey yall, been following the channel more and more since we got my oldest boy a Coleman CT200U for Christmas - love what all y'all have shown to be possible with one! Sucks royally, locking the engine up like that. But I say y'all should build it back. I don't know if you've heard of a company called Total Seal, but they make gapless piston rings - dunno if they do for small engines, but it'd be well worth the cost to get them if they do. They'll eliminate any blowby, which helps keep oil clean AND increases the intake vacuum, which logically will pull more air/fuel in for more power output. Another thing to check out if yall wanna really trick the 670 out? CERAMIC COATINGS. A thin layer of ceramic on the piston tops, exhaust runners, combustion chambers, even the cylinder walls - anywhere that sees a flame - that coating will reflect heat back into the combustion process, making a more complete burn and freeing up power. That coating is also much harder than any metal, so it'll also be much more wear-resistant, aiding in reliability. ALSO, it's a low-friction surface. So you'll free up more power that would normally be lost to friction. You can also coat every bearing/journal surface with it to further lower friction and increase wear resistance. Done right, the ceramic material bonds with the base metal it gets coated onto, meaning the only way it would come off is to grind it off. Doubt you'd wanna do that. Add a metal oil pump gear for good insurance, and I dare say that engine will be putting down close to 70 hp. And that coating will have everything ready for a turbocharger should y'all wanna go straight-up ridiculous with it. Best of luck with it, and I hope to see more of this rail! 😁
i feel the pain! I had the 5.3 in my 280z seize up on me a few weeks ago. She’s locked up tight though, can’t even the crank out the block with all the rods and main caps pulled off! Hopefully yours goes better then mine does
Aww dudes! That's one heck of a bum gig. If it's available, I have two words for you: phosphor bronze. When you go through that engine replace any rotating parts that are plastic. Stock plastic is not meant for racing. On a lighter note, you need some new stickers in honor of the rail. To remember this setback, a mailbox with folded wings and it's flag up. That signifies that the rail is down and needs to be picked up. The second is for when you get it back running again - a mailbox with wings flying down the track. Or not. Lol
That sucks guys , I totaled my girls 05 gt mustang few days ago because a car hit me in the rear and pushed it into the car in front of me . On a good note she’s looking at 13’ GT with coyote motor 420hp so keep your head up guys love the channel 👍🏻

Definitely needs more engine or gear for sure. Best of luck!
hey guys sorry to hear about the rail ...it looked and sounded awesome ...u guys will fix it even better than it was
Totally was the mailbox... Just couldn't handle it... 😂
i feel the pain!
Like many other people, i think you should do a Harley Davidson engine, their V-rod engines sound badass
you guys need to set it up for a 6.5 so if the big motor breaks, you can swap it and run it the rest of the night. That sucks. You guys have done so much work to that thing, its been disappointment after disappointment this year :(
