@@KevinRamirez-yx6ty I’ve watched your install video twice and definitely plan on doing that! Overall how long would you say it took you? It seems like routing the harness and grounding it is the most difficult part.
@@EddieNash91 I’m not sure if we are talking about the same video haha, the wireless CarPlay is a Module, all you gotta do is plug it into your USB Port on your car!

My hybrid doesn't have a sunroof, My Ridgeline does. Find that I don't really use it that much. So I didn't care that My "R" doesn't.
I used to have a 8th gen SI and I would always use it. Haha i think that’s why I miss it so much
.i feel you bro! things that i did to my 21 type r within the first couple of weeks i got it. switched those 20s to 18s. (a lot more forgiving on rough surface) switched the alcantara steering wheel to a 2019 ctr leather one. i wish i could replace the laggy HU, but there are just too many critical functionalities in the HU and i guess i just have to live with it. and the rearview camera resolution is sub par too, especially at night. things u may consider doing to ur type r. i put sound deadening mats on all the door sheet metals and door panels. i think the car feels more upscale and refined. (less rattling noises) upgraded the sound system and disconnected the fake engine noise plug have made the ride more enjoyable imo. thanks for ur content and keep up the good work!

I’m going to disconnect the added sound but that will be my next video when I finally record some sound clips of the 27WON exhaust. What sound system did you go with?
Nothing like woolite detergent and warm water and a micro cloth. Going 2 years and my steering wheel is still brand new.

#7 vibration from interior panels...close to 18,000 miles on my 21' Boost Blue & I have 3 interior rattles. I don't get mad at it though, it is an R but it's built on an econobox so there's trade-offs.
Have to clean my Alcantara at least every 2-3 weeks since it's my daily driver
Alcantara steering wheel cleaner is the worst haha, I understand the feeling of always having to clean it
So cleaning alcantara is tricky. A few tips, Do not soak it with too much cleaner. It will sit down all the fibers and make it hard to bring it back to life. So be gentle when wiping it and don't crazy with the cleaner. Then get yourself a horse hair shoe brush. Once it's dry, brush it really well to bring the fibers back up. I made the mistake of getting it way too wet and it's never been as soft as it was again..

Hot water and woolite. Don’t need to buy any cleaners. Can’t go wrong with woolite.

Am I the only one that has had a rock get stuck in between the braking area ….wait bro just finished your video, you get reverse squeaking, how can you fix this…?
Your not the only one, it’s annoying when rocks get stuck. Haha that’s why I mentioned it as a point. And yeah I’ve had reverse squeaking it was once but it sounded really bad like something was contacting metal to metal, however it went away after trying to figure out what it was
Stopped watching after the first thing was "no sunroof on my Type-R [track-oriented legendary vehicle]" ...enjoy the car, tho.
Going from a FA5 the sunroof is one of my favorite features because I enjoy riding with it open, so it was a big change switching to a vehicle without one, don’t get me wrong I understand completely why it doesn’t have one on it but it’s just my personal opinions of things I wish were different on it.
@@KevinRamirez-yx6ty I get it. But from a car enthusiast perspective, those faults are actually what makes the car "great." The CTR is only offered in a manual transmission, and that's what's incredible about it... you know everyone on the road with one, appreciates being connected to the car. Your sunroof request is like asking for an automatic transmission. A sacrilege in the legend's eyes.
What app are you using on your phone?
I have the Hondata App Running in the background like im tuned on Hondata 🙏🏽

@@skylyfeprojects Ever since getting the wireless CarPlay module I can’t use the Honda R app, so having the Hondata app where it gives me the same information and gauges is a big + now I feel I have best of both worlds
