I like how certain songs in Undertale have hidden little secrets. For example, Waterfall and Ruins both have a small part of Spear of Justice that you can hear if you listen closely. I personally think Toby Fox did that to warn the player that they would soon have to fight Undyne. Toby Fox is clever.

This one plays twice a year (spring and summer), the other two play once (winter and fall respectively). As of posting this, you would be hearing "UWA!! So HEATS!!" instead because yay summer
Also, there is the same beat as the secret song called "premonition" in the background. You can hear it only in the files or by modifiyng the game to go into room 264, an inaccesible room. There also will be a figure with some scribble on it, that covers almost the entire body, also not showing the head. It is theorized to be him the real gaster, or just another version of him. Weirdly enough, when you try to interact with him, it says * [Redacted] in lowercase wingdings. When you try to leave the room it just brings you to the Sound Test. Also, the room is called room_waterfall_redacted. Another secret is the fact that there is a horse stable in the files. If you are good enough to edit the files and bring it to the game and interact with it, it will say: (It's a horse stable.) (Do you want to go inside?) Yes No If you choose yes it will say: (You jostle the door.) (It's locked.) (Suddenly, from inside the [redacted], you hear a Yes, the dialogue is cut off like this, both the stable and text seem unfinished, but if you manage to edit a trash can into the game, you can pick a key and after that the Redacted figure appears in the stable and if you interact with it, it will say * x in lower case wingdings. I think this is honestly one of my favorite melodies in the game. It has a very soft and pleasant feel to it; something you’d hear while walking down a peaceful path in the snow, maybe in the middle of the day when the sky has that light-grayish-blue tint, you feel just content with the things around you.

This reminds me of early childhood summers. Going to summer camp, hearing the nostalgia bird every morning, leaving my house excitedly every morning to see perfectly green grass sprinkled with dandelions and milkweed and then playing with the neighborhood kids, running out to the icecream truck, going to the playground, swimming in the pool, meeting other kids who I’d never see again, going to my friends houses, summer concerts, watching bubbles fly through the air, drawing with chalk outside, riding through the neighborhood on my bike, the sweet cherry blossom smell, climbing trees, making those rubber band bracelets at camp, sitting outside in the hot Sun drinking juice after YMCA camp and ultimately being carefree and enjoying myself. The worst thing I had to worry about being school work. My worst fear being the dark or the monster under my bed. Now all I’m left with is memories. So sweet yet so far away. Melancholy but also quite comforting. Enjoy your childhood the best you can❤

I ended up cramming everything in my 7th & 8th grade years, though. 6th grade was where it was at with this song. I wonder if I can find my old comments… middle school was a good time…

This reminds me of early childhood summers. Going to summer camp, hearing the nostalgia bird every morning, leaving my house excitedly every morning to see perfectly green grass sprinkled with dandelions and milkweed and then playing with the neighborhood kids, running out to the icecream truck, going to the playground, swimming in the pool, meeting other kids who I’d never see again, going to my friends houses, summer concerts, watching bubbles fly through the air, drawing with chalk outside, riding through the neighborhood on my bike, the sweet cherry blossom smell, climbing trees, making those rubber band bracelets at camp, sitting outside in the hot Sun drinking juice after YMCA camp and ultimately being carefree and enjoying myself. The worst thing I had to worry about being school work. My worst fear being the dark or the monster under my bed. Now all I’m left with is memories. So sweet yet so far away. Melancholy but also quite comforting. Enjoy your childhood the best you can❤
