He travelled nonstop with Norn thinking he’d get there faster than in a carriage, then Norn got sick and they ended up taking just as long as a carriage ride. 2) Paul and Norn were transported to an area just outside his sword school, where he did his thing with Lilia years ago. He initially thought the mana disaster was his ex schoolmates taking him for revenge for what he did with Lilia years ago. 3) Paul kept emergency funds in the bottom of his scabbard. He was never really in fiscal trouble while traveling back to Fittoa and Buena Village. 4) Geese is a demon, just not the way you think of it. Everyone from that continent is called ‘mazoku’, which literally means magic race, from the magic continent. Technically, we’re Geese from Millis or Central continents, he’d just be a beast person. Monkey. 5) The making up between Rudy and Paul and the rest of Dead End, actually took several days in the novel, as Paul was still actively working on the rescue operations. 6) Paul and the rescue party were financed secretly by Zenith’s family, who hate Paul, but wanted to rescue Zenith. Depending on how they animate the story, they could be really important or just kinda glossed over. 7) The Rescue Party had to behave like bandits, because despite the whole world basically acknowledging the disaster at this point, some Millis nobles refused to give up their slaves, and so Paul and co ended up with a lot of powerful Millisian enemies.
At this point some things where already looked over. When Rudy first seen Geese he thought he was a monkey or gorilla type beast but spoke. And he looked closer and it was human. But I believe they have to make characters better looking to keep people watching. They probably will skip more im the future because this store tends to be more about Rudy without all his inner monologues. Every time Rudy lets his guard down and loses it breaks him mentally. It brings back emotion of the past life and almost makes him want to stop doing anything and become a shut in agian. There was supposed to be more ugly crying backin the demon continent. Rudy does see this all as a game because he remembers things from his old life that makes him choose options where he believes the outcomes will end up like in a video game. Which is wrong and why he loses. When he takes a hit he forgets that this isn't a game. And relaxes way to much. Even when he lost his eye to gain the other made him suffer a lot. Huge headaches for days and even when he could control it it still hurt his head to use it. It never really explains but to me ut always seems like Rudy is a child inside and out with only dream like memories of his past life. And it takes forever to grow from those memories. Because he develops magic tactics from things he remembers from school. But only when he remembers them. He also never fully understoods healing magic and is forced to use chants to use healing magic. Probably because he can't understand the feeling of healing magic the way others do. As opposed to any other magic he can understand because he understands the feeling of it and adds his own knowledge to the magic to make it work.
You know, it’s kinda disappointing that they changed how Rudy’s party made it from the Millis Continent to the Central Continent. By changing it, they cut out Rudy meeting a member of Zenith’s family for the first time.
during the start of the episode Paul reaches an area... this area that he is overlooking is just a large dirt patch of land. That's their old village... nothing left but dirt.
I love this episode. When you realize at the end of the episode that Geese got captured in the forrest on purpose looking for Paul’s family, recognized Rudeus, said nothing, traveled with him, and then told him to go to the guild when he parted, then he found Paul and told him to go to the guild as well (plus the whole conversation when he saw Paul was devastated) so that Rudy and Paul would reunited. And that he’s now headed to another place no one has checked. Geese is the MVP. Special kudos to the bartender for noticing Rudy was never looking up and suggesting he look at Paul while talking.
For me personally the way the author created this is quite true to a lot of family drama where we can get rather heated and not see things clearly due to high emotions. I think we all end up having a stupid fight over something with a loved one at some point but what I love is the make up between Paul and Rudy. Paul after talking with Geese sees his faults and tries to become a better man. Paul has clearly been through the ringer. He's found no evidence for any of his other family in over a year and a half. He's been running himself into the ground with trying to get people back together after the disaster and ended up drinking for some tiny bit of relief. Now despite this I will say a nice detail you might notice is Paul being a decent dad to Norn. He himself is rather ragged and downbeat but Norn is always shown being happy and wearing clear clothes with neat combed hair. He always gave her a smile and took care of her. It might be she was the only reason he didn't descend into full despair and do something stupid. He's trying his best and while he has a way to go. He's getting there.

Bikini's sister wears a lot of clothes because traumatized by male gaze, Bikini girl wears bikini to divert attention away from sister. If you look at it from both sides, you can see that neither one of them was wrong, and neither one of them was right. That’s what I love so much about this argument between Rudy and Paul. It’s so emotional and you can see both sides of the argument, so neither one of them is really “the bad guy” in it.

They got into many ambuses and assassinations, resulting in the deaths of many volunteers. The families of said volunteers would constantly blame Paul's methods and those weighed on him a lot. 2. From what I remember, by stealing the adventurer's horse, Paul's license is void. 3. After nearly two years of searching with not sight of his family, Paul begins to doubt himself and regrets making the search squad at all, believing he would have found his family had he ignored the other Fittoans. 4. Vierra and Shierra are twins Paul rescued. The cloaked one had sever sexual trauma and has a hard time with male attention. Her sister, therefore wears bikini armour to attract their gazes to her, rather than her sister. + Lore wise, armour isn't often used since the advancement of healing magic garuntees survival, provided you weren't cut in half.
Paul, know this, you sent rudeus away to Roa for five years forbidding him from visiting and/or writing back to you. He was also in the epicenter, so he wouldn't have known how big the explosion was. And lastly he was teleported on the opposite side of the world with no means to gather the information.
There is a reason for Vierra wear this clothes, the other girl Shierra is her sister, when Shierra was young she was absuded and developed phobia against man, when an men come closer to her, or when an men look at her, she has a panic attack and become totally helpless, she can't even use her magic, this is why Vierra wear this kind of clother, for the men just look at her and ignore Shierra.

A lot of people that ended up in the demon continent and survived just end up living there the rest of their lives because it is too dangerous to leave town and with no money or knowledge you can't risk your life for an uncertain outcome. I don't remember where it is mentions but there was a young girl that was scaried to death but was able to be adopted by a family there at the port and she just works as their store cook and even adds her own knowledge to make food tasty for the people in the demon continent. She couldn't understand thr language and just ends up loving her new family. But that could have been worse. She isn't important to the story but they may never show the demon continent again.

I found that the channels that watched the OVA in chronological order felt the best, but, I can understand watching them in release order. However, should ya'll watch Steins;Gate, you MUST go the β route! One word.....immersion.
Chronologically, the OVA's story happens between EP16 and 17, but it is an OVA as the true main character for the episode is a new character. So it's actually better to watch it after season 1.

Firstly, good luck to your battle against copyright! There are other channels who struggle even when they followed the rules set by TH-cam and I personally like how you guys have set it up. To answer your question, Paul does get attacked when they do not get to people in time, by members of his rescue squad. Furthermore, that nightmare of Rudeaus happens everyday but he also sees Zenith, Lithia, and Aisha in similar states hence his drinking problem. Also, you are the only other channel I know that is suspicious of Geese (who is a Monkey Demon btw) despite him one of the MVPs this episode. If you're up for recommendations, I would add the Berserk (1997) and Cowboy Bebop animes, if you haven't seen them yet since you seem to be anime onlys.

Ya know, if the OVS was made right, it would have been 1000% necessary to watch before this episode. There would have been vital details needed to progress the story, and something in this episode would have been different. Le sigh. No idea why they changed what they did. Beyond irritating, but, what they put out was great anyway. Looking forward to the rest of the season. It is goood.
There's only a single OVA, and it's pretty much just a regular episode.. The reason everyone recommends watching it after 16 (or 17) is because the chapter in the Light Novel that the OVA episode covers takes place between between those respective chapters.. because some of the information is necessary going into what would be episode 18.. It was released as an OVA because it is not from Rudeus' point of view.. it's basically "while Rudy was meeting with Paul, this other thing was happening over here" So watching it at the end is okay, but by doing so you kind of miss out on some character growth that impacts the last 5 episodes.

Ok long story short Geese is a demon his claws are black, Ruijerd was a father so he knows how it goes, Vierra dresses the she does to protect her sister from male gaze. When they were teleported bad men caught them and did well you know what they did. Once Paul rescued them Vierra bounced back but Shierra has trauma she has panic attacks when men look at her hence why Vierra dresses the way she does so men look at her.
