@@sprashere I agree with the civic sense part of it, but its a different area of progress. While general public has work to do, the govt has not done it's job we cannot ignore that.. The richer class should not be given loan waivers and tax waivers, check Adani who was at no. 432 in world richest in 2014, is now at no. 8! That is what I'm against, middle class is bearing the whole brunt where as approx 15-16 lakh crore loans of industrialists are waived off... So that means we are paying it off our taxes.. Where I live there has been a water logging problem in monsoon for 5 years, and we have been protesting, but no action from administration... Kids fall ill and cannot go through to school for 10 days, and we have to go to office through that dirty water. Roads are full of potholes that go out from our area. We go by Mumbai local train to office and if you see local train stations we travel worse than animals. No usable washrooms on stations, so people don't drink water for hrs..stationery, medicines, everything now taxes have increased . And after paying all these taxes what did they change for us? The station names.

How are we supposed to meet employment needs.
I myself cracked Govt job thrice, then I moved to Private job. Now I am earning three times than my Govt job salary.
So it's not about Govt or Private, it's about whether you are skilled or not and whether you are ready to work hard or not.
I solely can't blame Govt for this. The youth and everyone else are equally responsible for this.

Tap water was available in our Village but there were issues with pipelines, main pond and timely supply. But after 2020 we can fill our rooftops tanks without motor.

And also the bullet train project, its land aquasition is delayed mostly in Maharashtra where Uddhav led government came in power and delayed the land process. Whereas in Gujarat it’s almost completed and work is also near completion. In economic table there is also a huge problem of NPA which was very concerning but it reduced down to 2.8 from 19% . Which makes banks to come out of red balance sheet and pump the money in market and eceonomy.

*Report card of BJP based on my personal experience as I live in a small town in UP:
Electricity - Before the BJP govt we used to get less than 10 hrs of electricity even in many phases like this AM to this PM then power cut for so long then again and even when just a cloudy weather happens they cut it in a fear of wire cutting and we used to have 1 transformer for 1 muhalla and very often it got damaged and usual power cut for so so many days but everything has been changed drastically although its not perfect but a big room for improvement as I am expecting 24hrs of electricity and other than this govt no one takes seriously about this issue.
Water - Before 2017 we used to get very little water supply,from my bare eyes I didn't saw any public tap water but after this govt things got changed,our town has 20-40 कुआ which got renovated now with grill on it so that no one can go inside it and alongside 2 tap water supply also fitted.
Public safety - I cannot imagine how much Gunda gardi, lootmaar, chori, yadavwaad to bhai pucho hi mat, abhi bhi dhamki dete hai ki ek baar aane do unki sarkaar aise aise maarenge. Police management also was very poor, also not listens to public problems and very late timings but as usual everything has been changed even here also has a chance for improvement.
Infrastructure is just miles apart in front of every govt we ever had interms of roads, railways, airports, universities, IITs, IIM, AIIMS. Also noticed the country's security has also improved massively. Loved the policy of zero tolerance to terrorism. There is so so much room for improvement which I can make this govt count. I like many things except this proud temperment that this govt promotes instead of normalising it*

In a federal system with multiparty democracy you cannot blame a National govt for all the deficiencies. Its very difficult to fulfill all the promises with the kind of politics we have. Best example is Bullet train. Everyone knows how Uddhav Thackeray stalled he land acquisition in Maharashtra. So the govt decided to start building on the Gujarat side. But people question where is Bullet train? This is just ine example.there are several reasons for different issues in different places plus Govt failure in some places. But overall Modi Govt has done remerkable job in 10 years.

Seeing the comment section, it seems like people don't really have any problem with unemployment, education system, healthcare, social welfares etc.
No, I'm not saying it is govt. duty to provide employment, but it is the duty of the govt. to built a strong framework/infrastructure so that our economy can flourish, not necessarily owned by only few capitalists for their own profit.
But these things will only come if we'd have a good education system and strong infra to support it, a good research and development culture in our institutes and colleges, whose budgets are unfortunately being cut by the govt. every year.
Currently our youth is either so underprivileged that they aren't capable of earning minimum wage, or the people who are actually working, the working conditions and related rules & regulations are worst and it seems like the the exploitation has become the norms in the Indian companies.
As a young citizen, I really want these things to be fixed. It doesn't matter if we become the 3rd or even 1st world economy, or if we have bullet trains. What really matters is if we are getting a quality life, do we have enough employment opportunities, if our people are well educated, are they able to afford their daily meal and stuff?? gdp does not show the real picture, gdp per capita does.

Look at a majority of teachers in private schools even, and then at professors in colleges. A very few exceptions! When a lion share of teachers join this field not by choice but by compulsion after getting hit in other phases of life, it's inevitable. A teacher lacking rudimentary skills in English teaches the subject in Class-10. One who has dealt with History teaches Biology because the posts of History are occupied and ultimately, he/she falls back upon an empty post in Biology.
Most of the colleges are third class. This is why you will find many politicians of Blow job party and khangress sending their children to elite Indian schools or those in English-speaking countries.
