- Jist reporter Medha ventures into Karnal district, a BJP stronghold in Haryana, to examine the political landscape during the election season. Karnal emerges as a significant hot seat because the former Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, is contesting his first Lok Sabha election from this constituency. Previously, Khattar served as an MLA from Karnal. Alongside the parliamentary elections, Karnal will also witness by-polls on May 25th, which is going to be the CM Nayab Singh Saini’s major test on ground.
Despite multiple local parties in the fray, the most influential challenger to Khattar is Divyanshu Buddhiraja of the Congress.
Medha explores both urban and rural areas, engaging with residents to uncover their preferred candidates and understand the issues driving their voting decisions.

last clip was really heart breaking. really sad to see the girl who is not even permitted to vote forget about her choice of candidate. although she seems to be an educated one and can differentiate between City and Village. It breaks my heart to see them like that, Here Women empowernment is needed but there is no one to raise their voice and speak for them because if they do then people or the Patriarchal society won't vote for them and they will lose the future elections. Thank you bringing us these aspects of scoiety as well.

भाई मेरे गाँवो में ऐसा ही होता है.... लड़का हो या लड़की परिवार के साथ चलते है बड़े बुजुर्ग जहाँ बोलते है वहाँ चलते है वोट करते है....हमारी पहलवान भाई /बहनो के साथ दिल्ली में क्या हुवा उसका दर्द गाँव के लोग ज्यादा समझते है ना कि शहर के लोग। आजकल हरियाणा के ज्यादातर गाँव शहर से कम नहीं है.... फिर भी कमियाँ तो है उनको भी दूर करने में लगे हुवे है समय लगेगा

Stupid conservative people do not realise that this is diluting their culture and making them less civilised by the day. No society can progress where women are not happy. Positive examples are Switzerland, Britain, France, US, ANZ and scandinavia. Negative examples where women are not equal are Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Mauritania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and to some India and Bangladesh - here crime, poverty, corruption, lack of health care and education, unemployment where people have to depend of privately run institutions abound.
