What a collection Gavin. When my mother moved to the states with my dad, she brought along her Beatles albums from her childhood. It was all nice original stuff from England and about 30 years ago she sold it all for cheap in a yard sale. Hold on to them my friend!
Hi Andre, sorry she sold all that great stuff--so in honor of her (and you) I shall hang on dearly to what I have. BTW, did you get the package I sent you? I have something else to add so if you want to send your address again to shaykespeare@yahoo.com I'll take care of it. Thanks for watching.
Love the Beatles. The Yesterday and Today Lp was the one I believe that had the cover originally of the 4 lads holding bloody babies. After much controversy they changed the label to the one on your cd cover. The original had them holding bloody babies. A real gem if you are fortunate enough to have it. I think I am correct on this. I have the original please please me LP in really good condition....... And on a side note, I think "I saw her standing there" is one of the rawest, loudest, greatest rock songs of all time. Certainly one of my fav's. This was great my friend, I enjoyed every second of this one. You have some great stuff there.
Hey Gav, thanks for showing your (or at least half of your) Beatles library. Excellent stuff of course, especially some of the imports and remasters ( I have quite a few of the issues you showed). By the way, to answer your question about the laugh tracks in "Sgt. Peppers...", This was at the point where just before recording this record The Beatles had decided not to tour anymore, so what they were trying to do when recording Sgt. Peppers was give the album sort of an live recording 'feel' without having to make a live album, so in taking a poke at that, in sort of a 'novelty-like' way, they added sound affects like the laugh tracks.
Good morning🎶good morning.. good🎶...oh brother lameo....very cool video Gavin I grew up w the Beatles so these videos are always fun to watch....loved the boots...I have the remastered CDs...very well packaged....Omg loved the chu bops...take care Gavin and be well- Lis
I've watched many Beatles collection videos but I have to say this is the best one I've seen. I've been a Beatles fan since 14 (I'm 18 now) and I really enjoy watching videos like these! I was wondering (If they're opened) if you could do a video and show the inside of the mini lp CDs. I want to get some but don't know how they look or what they contain. Thanks for the video! Greetings from Puerto Rico!
Wow Gabriel, how nice of you! That really made my day/week/month haha. Yes, I'll be glad to open the mini LPs and I'm also in the midst of gathering up my other Beatles stuff. I'll be sure to let you know when I'm ready. And greetings from Kansas!!!!
I'm actually finding that I really like the Beatles too! I only have one Beatles CD (Beatles 1) but am definitely on the lookout for more. Nice seeing more videos from you lately! Also, I got it yesterday…..video coming ;) XO -Ambie
Absolutely love both. I'm hoping to start putting together a scrapbook of notes and trinkets that everyone in the VC who has sent VCLT has sent along with them so that I can keep them as keepsakes :) Thanks so much for your generosity & sharing your creativity!
I started singing "Yellow Submarine" when you showed it LOL!!! It gets stuck in my head for days at a time…HA! Anyway, I really really love the drawing and am on the hunt for a good picture frame for it. Probably will go with a black frame because it will match my color scheme in my house and not detract from the drawing itself.
HI !!! Wow you do have some very nice lp and cd !!!! And now Paul to great lol . I have seen the Paul London Town how do you like it ?. I do love your Beatles gum set . And you are right the gum was very bad lol . This is a great video . Thank you for showing it take care !!!!
Hi there, Beatle Brad! I love the Alternate London Town as it's bareness helps me appreciate the finished project that was to become London Town. I'm very happy to have it and I hope you get a chance to listen to it. Glad to meet you!
Well it may be a couple of months but I want to be prepared well in advanced so when the time comes I don't have much to stress over. When I do I'll post a music room video and let you know.
Hi Mark. I'm so sorry it's been a while but it's been crazy in my life. I will be back very soon with more uploads once all this dust settles. I trust you've been okay and thanks for your concern, buddy!!!!
Hi Don! I'm super sorry about not having posted in a while. I'm going to be doing so very soon. Had a strange few weeks to deal with but the dust is starting to settle. Glad you came by, friend.
Yeah, I hear you about being busy. Me, I've did the root canal (three different dentist, got a bit of lockjaw from the procedure if you can believe that) new lawnmower (another couple hundred bucks) and yesterday my phone just went black so I had to buy a new one. Fun, fun, fun. Actually vinyl has picked up a bit at the thrift stores. Stopped at a local flea market and ask one of the few vendors if they had any vinyl. Brought out a footlocker and I bought ten. Herman's Hermits, BJ Thomas, The First Edition, Neil Diamond, Rick Nelson, etc. I bought a Jimmy Buffett box set for three dollars at Goodwill, I was happy.
Ooh I love coloured vinyl - was amazing to see your copies of the blue and white albums!
Hi there! It was exciting to find them. I'm a sucker for colored vinyl. Thanks for stopping by!!!

That's means an awful lot to me, Trish. Stay wonderful.
I think I threw the mustache away. The Chu-Bops collection is impressive.

Glad you got your drawing. Hope you like it and the funny message behind it.
Absolutely love both. I'm hoping to start putting together a scrapbook of notes and trinkets that everyone in the VC who has sent VCLT has sent along with them so that I can keep them as keepsakes :) Thanks so much for your generosity & sharing your creativity!
That sounds like a good idea. And I loved getting you something, you're too nice.

So glad you liked it. It's an 8 x 10 so there should be lost of frames that size to choose from.
Also congrats on the move :) It's great you'll have a bigger place; I think with all of your records it will be worth it just for that ;) HA!
