Oh is 26 gauge a good thickness for jewelry ??

I have 26 gauge copper 6x6 from Amazon. How do I know if it has been annealed or perhaps it doesn’t need to be annealed?? I’ve watched enough videos so I know just enough “to be dangerous,” my mother’s words!?
