Ceramic Surface Manipulation #2: Sgraffito

In this video I will teach you the basic of Sgraffito, a wonderful underglaze technique in which you scratch away a surface of colored underglaze or slip to reveal the clay beneath. To prepare to do this you need a clay piece that is leather hard with 3 coats of underglaze or colored slip that has set up. Enjoy!
