Overworked. Exhausted to an unhealthy state of mind. Confused. Angry. Annoyed. Resentful. Afraid and feeling entirely unworthy. None of this changes that I know Jesus is the only one who truly sees me....yet, I have to Trust, it IS enough.
This earth is a lonely place sometimes.
I feel it can be lonely sometimes too. I isolate myself and then try to break out of isolation by ringing someone. Its sometimes easier than I think.

@@luce9704 Why do you accuse me of not reading the bible? Why do you believe this, or maybe you know that I probably do read it, but you choose to say it anyway about me? Is hating my sin different than hating myself, or is it the same to you? Are you trying to make people hate themselves in addition to hating their sin? Where did you learn this? Does hating yourself bring you salvation? What religion is that from? Acknowledging how our sins hurt our relationship with God, hurt other people, and hurts ourselves is a key first step to building something better, and is done by a person who loves themself and others. A person who loves themself will want something better than a living a life of self-hate. Self-hating is not the same thing as repentance, even if many religions believe they are the same thing. Good luck with your religion.
Long after everyone has left the worst places on earth, Catholic nuns are still working there providing support, food and care. Huge respect for them.

Thank you for sharing this. I recently realized life is a struggle for many reasons. Our trials and tribulations are meant to bring us all together. Humanity is about dependence and that is only achievable through love. I realized this after meditating on the beatitudes, specifically “blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” ❤
I struggle to see the good in myself, especially compared to all of the good people around me. When I look at myself, often all I can see is my brokenness and sin. I feel like a weed plucked from the sidewalk and undeservedly placed in a garden of beautiful flowers. I know this is pride and envy. Thank you Sister Mary Grace for your love, and God bless you.

Can you imagine how many lives could be saved if everyone said a kind word to everyone they knew. Almost guarantee many would cling to those words for years - and if the urge to 'hurt others' because of their inner pain came up - there is a chance it may be reconsidered, because someone had given them a sincere compliment.
We need more sisters like this one!

After of so many years of survival, new age, self help and therapy and when i thought i couldnt ever be good enough, in dark dark despair i felt the "call"a few months ago. After returning to God and the sacraments i started listening to Bishop Baron, fr Casey and Fr Patrick and now yourselves...Finally at 64 and with parkinsons, i feel He believes im good enough. No longer i have to play either hero or villain to get conditional approval from the world and or"wink wink" applause from the enemy. I see desolation fizzling out of me daily. Please keep praying for me and with me so we may all see ourselves through His eyes. Because that day His Kingdom will be here. Verse 20 - The deeds of the law cannot justify rather God's law finds us guilty....trangressors of Gods law.

Your goodness is a function of your successes. When you fail, those things that are wrong with you are brought to the forefront. For example, I attempted to play the guitar, but never made any progress. There is something wrong with me that I couldn’t do something that supposedly anyone can learn how to do. Besides, my inherent goodness has never mattered to anyone, yet people are quick to point out when I fail or make a mistake.
I went/am going through the same thing at work. More so today. And I don't like having to prove myself. ... ongoing struggle

Another LDS here. Catholic nuns are wonderful, gracious sisters in the Lord.
My sense of self was very built on errors. I had a personal encounter with God was because unless I received His love for me, I would never have never gotten home to Him! I also strongly believe years og my Mother's prayers for her children while alive continued unceasingly coming after she died. Never stop praying for your children. It took me 60 years to walk into a confessional after my 1st confession..Thanks Mom!

Many years ago, a little boy questioned me about purgatory, which he thought was a terrible place, and then asked me whether I thought I’d go there. When I said I thought it possible, there was a great silence - you could almost hear his brain whirring - and then he said: “No, you’re good. You’ll go to heaven.” He said it with such deep conviction that I was thunderstruck. It was as if God himself had spoken once and for all. It was difficult to take in, particularly as I was at a low point in my life, but those words really helped me to keep up my courage in the following months. I am grateful to that boy for his faith in me, and I’m grateful to you for reminding me.
From the beginning man was created; nay fashioned, into existence, higher than the animals and all created things; beings made in the image and likeness of God from mere dust and bone. What angel can claim such? Yet this drove one angel furiously nuts and he convinced a third of the sons of light to fall like lightning to the earth below and influence God's beings to commit sin, sin that more than echoes down and permeates throughout all generations.
No atoning sacrifice was found; no escape goat strong enough to carry the load but through the Son of Man there was and is and will always be a sacrifice to atone: For Him, Jesus has bore the sins for all, once and for all. Now there is good in man once more to all generations past present and future.
See the Jesus in others for the world is more Jesus to us than we can be Christ to the world--meaning the corporal works of mercy for the least of these.
Thank you bearer of this light, Sr Mary Grace, for sharing this video; true light shining through the darkness of this world. Let the world so receive this light to illuminate the path for others far and wide.
