Why can't the hard working employee have as much power in the company as a nepo kid? Why they must be below the family members? They're after all bringing a profit to the company, they are the reason the company is making money. Without them the nepo baby (who most likely has less qualification compared to the employee who has years of experience) placed in a position just because they're born into a specific family wouldn't be able to hoard the money.

If it’s a family business then the successor being a family member is basically how it works. If your father buys a house and instead of giving you as Inheritance decides to give it to another “more deserving hardworking random kid” I’m sure you won’t be pleased and the POV would be different. If you for example work really hard and setup a business for the betterment and stability of your family, you yourself won’t give it to a random non family person as a successor. The expectation that others would do it is foolish.

“Hard working company” my brother in Christ, these are not little, or even massive, family businesses competing in the free market fairly. These are *the* functional monopolies in SK, kept safe by protectionist policies and pro-them laws by a government over which they exercise well-known and enormous non-democratic influence. These kids are basically inheriting a legally and de-facto protected aristocratic status on birth which goes beyond “billionaires kids in the US” even. So yeah obviously it’s unsurprising that they would give even a tiny fraction of one kind of that power to any outsider, but let’s not act like this is somehow *fair*.

But, I think that happens in everywhere. If you have an agricultural land, a private university, hospital, small shop, SME or the biggest businesses. It will always be them as owners. Isn't it fair? I don't see any problem, they created, they took the risk, they earn the profit. If they is a bankruptcy, it them who will suffer. The only problem is "monopoly" and people preferring jobs instead of opening a new company.

Not quite true. The inheitance tax rate in Korea is at 50%, one of the highest in the world. This means that for example, when a chaebol who has 50% of the company shares tries to give the “chairman/CEO” position to his kid, they will now only have 25% control over the company, making the company a prime target for private equity funds/corporate hunters. This is why 1st/2nd generation chaebols had total control over the companies, but now as we see more of the 3rd/4th gen chaebols, they have either already lost or about to lose the control over the company that their grandfathers founded. Also, sick and tired of these leftiest demonizing the chaebols, lee jae yong, the current (3rd gen) chairman of Samsung publicly pledged that he will not give his kids any of Samsung’s shares after serving some time in jail due to a ludicrous corruption charges that I personally think he’s innocent from.
