      Do you good work at fair prices and you’ll be super busy. Don’t be the cheap guy, do the job right the first time, and if you mess up fix it as soon as possible and make it right for the client. Business is simple, we tend to complicate things more than we have to, or look for the magic pill but there’s none. Also, it is not for everyone, a good tree guy can be mediocre business owner, know yourself.

    Thank you Kenny! Very informative video. I’m currently house shopping in Winston Salem and some have pretty tall trees on the property. I know you’re near Raleigh, so I doubt you’d service Triad area, but please let me know if you can recommend someone you trust for tree removal. I’m planning to do estimate appointments around the same time as inspection, and prior to closing on the house.

    I was trying to get a quote over the phone and this is informative knowing how much goes into why they couldn’t do it over the phone. But if you even explained this as to why I couldn’t get a quote I would hire you. But it would be nice to be able to give a ball park of possible price over the phone if I answer a few questions. I.e size of tree? Near a house or two? Road space/ traffic? Up a hill or flat road? Health of tree? And the clean up portion? Etc.
    If there was a form for people to answer valuable questions and then be able to determine a pre quote. Then you guys can be like “hey from what I gathered without seeing the tree itself I’d say 1,000 - 5,000 but now come out to make sure” etc. That be super helpful for the customer. We could even send a photo too. Just something for us customers to get a pre estimate before a full estimate from a inspection. Idk if that is possible. But it would be nice. 😊

    • @KennysTreeRemoval
      @KennysTreeRemoval  ปีที่แล้ว

      This will be easier if doing a roof or installing a fence etc. There are ao many variables when it comes to the process of removing a tree that just a few basic questions will only give a very large range in pricing $200-4k for example. Best to get a few in person quotes, over bidding or under bidding over pictures is just as much time wasted as going to provide an acurate in person quote.

      @@KennysTreeRemoval Just asking dude!
      Thought it was a fair question.
      I do commercial refrigeration and residential A/C work.
      When I install a system, I get a sizable deposit to cover the cost of the equipment.
      I don't know how it works in the tree care world
      I love running saws and cutting down trees. I'm originally from the Pacific North West and from a family who worked in the logging industry. But now located in N AZ
      I do appreciate that you replied Thanks
      I'd like to add tree removal to my services. I have done two jobs so far. I didn't ask for deposits, as I had nothing to pre purchase.

    • @KennysTreeRemoval
      @KennysTreeRemoval  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I dislike companies who ask for a deposit, it shows someone who is worried about not being paid fully when the job is completed, it shows someone who maybe is not confident that they will complete the job as promised to the client and again not being able to get their money due to lack of quality of work and unhappy client, and finally it shows you are a mess as business owner not having enough capital to sustain your business daily activities. Just my 2 cents, I know plenty of companies who charge deposit, and also know plenty of people who had horrible experiences with companies who charged a deposit and never completed the job and simply walked away.

    How Much Does Tree Removal Cost?

    • @KennysTreeRemoval
      @KennysTreeRemoval  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s no set price for tree removal.

    • @playtimeent08
      @playtimeent08 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It varies by tree type, size and height. Average in chicago area is 1000 to 2000 per tree. I got 3 70ft elms with a 30ft crab tree removed w stumps for $3500. I called 9 or 10 different companies to get estimates. Most wanted 2000 to 3000 per tree, but I just wasnt paying that much. Heres my logic, crew make 25 per hour per guy. Crew of 3 guys get 250 per day = 750 labor per day. Tack on another 1500 for equipment and profit and you get 2250 for one tree. Add 1000 for each tree and that should give you a rough price. Note that the more trees you have to remove, the lower the price. Also, depending on the trees you have, the company may give you a discount because they make money off the trees.
