This is so beneficial. My favourite tip is to make sure to have snacks incase others need it. Beautiful way to service others! May Allah swt reward you sharing
To all the rude and judgemental people, covering your hair is imp but being nice and polite is even more important and you are not being polite by passing comments on her not covering her hair.
As salamou aleyki. You said it all : hadj is an psylogical experience. Dealing with people, everything,... It's a big test on all plans. Good job u did ! Salam
You can use a spray bottle and perform the fard actions of wodhu only in case where you can't find water to do all the fard and sunnah of wodhu. Mashaa Allah very helpful video. InshaAllah I will be performing haj in next couple of days.
Salaam..thank you & jazakAllah for your helpful videos. I have a question...how hard is it to breathe with a mask on in the heat? What is the type of mask you recommend?
They were medical masks and they're easy to breathe in, but yes you can feel hot in them. For most protection, replace daily or every time a mask gets wet from water or sweat.
Hi, I wanted to know what did you put your stuff in while you were performing hajj. Like where did you put your spray bottle, water bottle etc? Doesn't a purse get too heavy?
We got a drawstring backpack from our Hajj company that was very lightweight and easy to carry around on our backs. I would highly recommend NOT carrying around a purse and keeping your hands free whenever possible because in the rush of people you can drop and lose something. Ask your Hajj company whether they'll be providing a drawstring backpack to you or not. If not, they are usually very cheap to purchase (under $20) so definitely get one before you leave.
Thank you! Yeah I'm only taking a mini crossbody just big enough to fit money and my phone. But thank you I will look into getting a drawstring bag! My travel agent said that the hajj company will provide us things when we get there so I can't trust what they may provide lol. Also, did you need any kind of yoga mats to sleep on for Muzdalifah and do you recommend bringing our own bedsheets?
If you have a comfortable and soft prayer mat with you that's usually good enough for lying down wherever you may be. For Mina, it's recommended to take long a clean single bedsheet and pillowcase.
I'd recommend getting pockets in your shirt inside your abaya to carry around your phone and money. There are lots of pick pockets and if you carry valuables in a crossbody bag they may get lost.
Fatima SK yeah i saw your video on that and it was a very smart idea but I'm taking tshirts and trousers from the US so I dont have anyone to stitch them for me
Assalamoalikum sister, thankyou so much for your video , it was really helpful. I am going to hajj with my family ( husband and a toddler) this year inshallah. I want to have your guidence on the following topics 1. What should i pack when leaving for arafat and muzdalifah ( extra clothing or abaya) 2. Should i take the baby stroller with me to arafat and muzdalifah ( baby carrier will be too hot off course and too tiring) 3 . As living in ksa We will be going for just the hajj days , should i bring with me the insulated bag to keep things cool for the baby? 4. Any special tips for going with a toddler
WSalaam. I have not traveled with a toddler nor was I with anyone who traveled with any children so I cannot speak by experience. However, if I were to guess, I would suggest the following: 1. Take as little as possible extra to Arafat and Muzdalifah. It's just one day. Perhaps an extra set of clothes for the child but nothing unusually extra for yourself. Muzdalifa is VERY crowded so as little stuff you have as possible the better. 2. If possible, I'd avoid taking a stroller unless it's an umbrella stroller you can easily carry around yourself if needed. As mentioned in the above point, Arafat might still be OK but Muzdalifa is very very crowded. There's hardly any space to even take a single step. So a stroller would definitely not work over there. You'll likely need to keep your child with you just to protect them from the large crowds. 3. If the insulated bag is easy to carry, then yes I'd recommend you do it. It gets extremely hot in August. Just make sure you're not carrying around too many unnecessary things because that, too, can become tiring very quickly. 4. I'd recommend you speak to your doctor before going and checking if there is anything special they would want you to look out for. Other than that, keep the child well-hydrated because we sweat a lot and children can become dehydrated quicker than adults and dehydration can be fatal if not taken seriously. Always have snacks for them and try to keep them as cool as possible (use a water bottle to spray their face and neck often so their core body temperature stays regulated). A hat would be mandatory. If you can keep them under an umbrella/shade that would be ideal. Also limit sun exposure so keep them fully covered because the more skin is exposed, the more dehydrated they can get. Their skin could burn from the sun. Lastly and most importantly, learn about signs of a heat stroke and keep an eye on the child to make sure they're not showing any signs, as well as what to do if the child is having a heat stroke. You probably wont have easy access to a doctor or hospital so you'll need to know what to do in case of an emergency. Keep some basic baby medication with you like Tylenol for when they fall sick. Everyone gets sick at least once during their journey, and usually its the throat and an upset tummy. Be extra vigilant about dehydration if the child has an upset tummy because then they are losing fluid not just by sweating but also from their stool and that makes it doubly-dangerous. Hope this was useful information!
Assalaamu alaikum sister for the 5imp days of haj during the stay in mina as there is lot of walking what would you recommend me to take along A small trolly or a bag with wheels or a backpack.plz reply soon as am leaving on thursday
Thankyou. Alhumdolilah it all went good with my toddler son. The first day we arrived in mina there was a sand storm , really heavy one, but after that on all days the weather was good. Off course it was hot in the noon but in the morning and evening really good. I did end up taking stroller in muzdalifah and i do recommend it strongly, because we had to wait 2.5 hours for our turn on the train station just standing there . So it was a good thing we had a stroller . We also hanged our backpacks including baby bag on the stroller during all the hajj. And for the insulation bag we did not bring with us . I used powder milk when outside. And kept snacks with us for the baby like biscuits or packaged croissants etc.
Better to take your own adapter (and make sure it's high quality) than buy a cheap one from there. My husband's phone got destroyed because the adapter we got from there blew up.
May Allah give you hidayah to do purda after your hajj at least .... I believe its fardh, and to all of us to be on siratul mustaqeem till our last breath, coz without fardh these little good videos would help others but not you in real sense.plzz don't be offended I'm just your well wisher
MaashaAllah excellent advice. Isha Allah will implement some during my Hajj this year. But please you need to cover your head and hair. It's really not good for a Muslim lady...

It's good to shower with an unscented soap they are very easy to find on the market and also use unscented deodorant.

There is a link in the description box with an image of the prayer mat with back support. I don't recall the price though, sorry.

sister you need to cover your hair always it is important pl. note this.
Stop being toxic
@@AnisurRahman-hx8no How is that being toxic? A Muslim is supposed to enjoin good and to forbid bad. Never to encourage bad.

Face mask is not allowed during ahram
If it's a medical requirement then it's OK to wear a mask. It is up to you how comfortable you feel in it.
Sister, you forgotten something quite important,, because man's can be watching this video.
