I was one of those people. Always respected his in ring ability but wasn’t a fan of anything else. He’s improved a lot for sure.
They micromanaged him so much back then, learned that when I listened to him on the Chris Jericho podcast a few years back he's always been charismatic.
I'm glad they're letting him be himself.

Roman Reigns is the biggest thing in the wrestling industry. The change in his character from the Big Dog to the Head of the Table is gold. His promos are fire, his reactions are meme-worthy and his theme song is a final boss theme. Paul Heyman made his character even better. Acknowledge the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns!

Roman always a class act. I feel Jimmy didn't do the interview justice however. Would have loved to see him ask questions to get us to see more of the "TRIBAL CHIEF." In the past, when wrestlers like Stone Cold, Cena, and even The Rock, we've seen them be somewhat in character. It would have been nice to see a little more balance to show non wrestling fans that this is the guy thats going to go head to head with Brock Lesnar. Either way, Roman is the man and him and Brock I feel is going to be a classic.

All in all, it was a great interview. I loved seeing the smile on his face when he was thinking of FCW and wrestling in front of only 50 people. You can see that he was remembering how much fun he had doing that.
