Fun tip....if you put steel wool in your pin cushions it will sharpen your pins with every use. :) Great video!!

Both of these items are great ideas for making for my local cat rescue charity summer stall. I do have some adorable cat fabric I could use as well. I’m not a proficient machinist but I’m thinking I could manage these, thank you!
Great ideas. Round zipper purse would be great in school colors, team colors, kids favorite toy (dinosaurs, cars, Disney characters)or polka dot to look like a lady bug. You could also add tiny appliqués (eggs/bacon) inspirational words.

Nice! I keep seeing videos where they sew straight over the zip teeth...does this not damage the machine? I only have a brother machine that's really only for domestic use. I've previously broken the needle before doing this!

I think for the first project, zipper should be placed the other way so that the coins would not fall out when the purse is hanging and you forget to close the zipper.

How on earth did you go over the metal zip with the sewing machine needle? Wouldn’t it break it? Or is there a setting for this? Thanks x
It looks like a plastic zipper. You can never saw over a metal zipper, imho.
