I am sOoo late to the party with Elevate. Better late than never. Purchased the Elevate mastering bundle about 15 minutes ago. The workday will crawl. Haha Can’t wait to dig in! Tried the demo and fell in LoVe! Don’t even remember downloading the demo but fell hard after I heard it. Looking forward to trying out the other plugs included. Currently demoing the delay plugin. You guys keep doing the 30 day fully functional demos. That’s how you get my hard earned cash. It actually gives me time enough to decide what I want to do.
Limitless all the way! It's a notch above everything else. I have 7 top of the line limiters (including FF Pro L2) but I find myself using the DMG Limitless most of the time , Ozone 9 Maximizer (GREAT Limiter) quite often , and Oxford Limiter V3 always when I want to use limiting in my Mix bus ( "pre mastering" ).
Same here. For me, it's always the same "circle of life". I do a bunch of mixes using limitless, then after some months I think: "Yeah but maybe one of the others gives me better results!". Long story short, after trying out all the others I own (Fabfilter, Elevate, Ozone) I always end up using limitless again. It's (for my ears) by far the cleanest one. L2, Ozone and Elevate, all three are changing the sound a little too much for my ears.
I have elevate and love it but I also quite liked the soft gooeyness of Limitless. It definitely had a warm vibe, so maybe not as transparent but it sounded really good to me in this example.
Very nice guys! I`ve neve seen a channels so open to suggestions and als oso quick in reacting and adapting to the feedback of the viewers. Very nice! For those who wonder about Limitless, you need to raise the "Amount" on the clippers in order to drive it into clipping. I find it great that in Limitless the clipper works before the limiting while in Elevate it seems to be set after which i never understood why but there will be some reason. After all it sounds like a tool made by someone who knows what he is doing
Hey Saar! Glad to see you're enjoying the channel - and it's awesome getting to make videos based on suggestions! Also, thanks for sharing your insight on the clipper section of Elevate! SageAudio.com
Thank you outstanding presentation I have DPS Boost . That works well for me creating punchie Rock drum and bass backing track for live preformance. I WILL surly try the other three. All have a diffrent flavor. Tozz
Tnx alot for your great explanations, I have a question like before, sorry about it, it doesn't relate to this video. Can you introduce a plugin that emulates Titanium multiband compressor hardware? I choose Dmg Limitless between those limiters! It has so many options to achieve the favourite result. Specially that clipper option is great for louder Mastering.
Hey Kambiz! We'll have to try out that Titanium Multiband Compressor! It looks like there isn't a free version or a plugin that emulates it, since Titanium seems to be developed using sampling. Thanks for watching! SageAudio.com
just a thought: you could put affiliate links to the plugins mentioned in your videos. I am pretty sure that some of your subscribers (ncluding myself) would not hesitate buying some plugins that you may have raised the interest for through those links. And it would mean a little bit more financial support for the channel which would result in more good content :)
Thanks for sharing that thought! That's a good idea! Maybe in the future if the channel gets big enough we'll consider something like that. SageAudio.com
I have a question,..as a mastering people-company, can you sometime also give your unbiased opinion, own experience on plugins you are introducing? Thumb up again.

Guys. Are you reading my comments? Cool. :) Still Elevate is better (in most cases than DMG audio and costs a lot less and you get EQ and Clipper for free in a bundle. I tested Ursa Dsp Boost but it wasn't as transparent as I wanted. I am testing now Bute limiter with auto release functionality. Another great limiter is form Melda Production. They have few. But the one that really surprised me in terms of quality and simplicity was. Hofa IQ limiter. One of the best (i think is multi band limiter in disguise). Dead simple and sounds amazing. It's on my wish list. Please do Clippers next. Kazrog. KClip (Best). Saturate form Elevate (next best). Gainstation - (Amazing) and Lift 2 from Acustica Audio. Standard Clip (meh). VClip (OK). BOZ audio Big and small clip (nice). And new boy - Flatline Clipper (expensive) for mastering (not tested by I think anyone so far on YT). Cheers!
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! We'll have to check out Hofa IQ! Also, good idea about a video on clippers - we'll try that in the future! SageAudio.com
