Sorry guy´s BUT Melissa looks not like Kara Zor-el/Supergirl. Mellisa is defently NOT Supergirl. Supergirls are Helen Slater and the best ever Laura Vandervoort. She has the second degree black belt. Laura fight´s as child Meningitis and survive. Many fans want´s Laura back to play Kara me included. She will make a verry good Supergirl. Hopefully with a good script and director who knows Supergirl´s arc ! In glee Melissa was great !!!

@@pauresatogbossi9503 There was plenty that made Laura great and Supergirl. She was fierce, confident, intimidating, strong, used her powers to full extent. Protected Clark several times, taught him to fly. Laura had the more comic look to begin with when first introduced that being blond hair. Benoist was truly just a female version of Clark Kent/Superman. Not intimidating at all. Not as confident. Majority of the time has a hard time defeating villians, even lesser tier or human ones. Many people still remember Laura as Supergirl on SV. And STILL look up to her for it.
Yes, Laura does have a 2nd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and is a great fighter. Even moreso with dealing with and overcoming her Meningitie. Where she wasn't expected to survive, paralyzed all on her left side, had a learning disability with it. There was the possibility of deafness. She has a great strength from it, that most people honestly wouldn't notice. These are all things that help me in my struggles with Cerebral Palsy. Where my whole right side is affected, I wasn't expected to live being 3 months premature. I also had a learning disability. Laura has always been so kind/encouraging, with sending prayer/love several times. Even telling me that I inspire her with my CP fight. She has also thanked me greatly for the kindness I've shown her, also has meant a lot. Have told Laura she was meant to be Supergirl for it all. Which she greatly appreciated. She's been a great friend.
