Framesi’s lighteners are the BEST, would love to see it in full action. It was definitely made by hair stylists, and they have a great technical support hotline to call!
I’m not a hairstylist but probably could have been in another life! BlondeMe has all the advertising in the world but I don’t think it’s the best bleach. I’m actually a fan of Wella and would love to try Framesi eventually as it actually keeps the integrity of the hair in tact. I’m looking forward to the next bleach installment. I generally use 20 volume for my hair and sometimes 30 if I decide to dye it a darker level beyond 5.
Framesi lightener has changed my life!! Its fast strong lift. I use it primarily with their 15&20 vl. On average size thin sections. 9 levels is a piece of cake! No heat and keep an eye on it. its fast! Can not imagine needing 40 vl. By the way their blue box 20min color is amazing too! Framesi is imo is the most underrated line!
Great presentation. Very concise and as fair as possible. The Framesi DeColor B Infinity + has been my go-to lightener recently but all Framesi lighteners perform exceptionally. The integrity is always there even with higher volumes of activators at room temperature.
I use Rusk and Framesi lightener. I mix 1 powder to 1.5 developer. Both leave the Hair feeling awesome, and they do lift much further than her testing with natural body heat added. Thanks so much for doing all this testing! I'm so curious about differant brands.
The Guy Tang I can get a Level 1 to a level 9/10 easily! It’s a very good lightener on a real persons head! Super great, minimal damage, and clean/even lift!
I use Goldwell on a daily. Love it! They also have pigmented lighteners, those are interesting! Also love Alfaparf, affordable and reliable! Thanks for the vid Mirella!
I just love these bleach testing videos. I would definitely like to see all of the lighteners with a 40 vol. Since I love to see bleach tests - I'd also love to see you test the MoroccanOil blond voyage lightener and the L'oreal blond studio.

Oh wow that’s is definitely interesting I did not know this. This is such a great way to open that door of communication and relationship with consumers.
Would love to see you go back and test using 30v/40v since the foils would normally conduct heat, as well as the head for on scalp! Same for lowest mixing ratio. I think that would be the true test because you’d be pushing the lightness and integrity a lot further! And it’s even more content for you to make! 😉
@@MirellaManelliI would never use 40 volume on anybody. But 30 volume is pretty much. What I use on almost everybody unless they are already a level 7 or higher naturally.
Hi Mirella!! I really liked this video as well as the previous one. I love the concept of comparing all the different types of lighteners out there. I know your channel is geared towards continuing education for professionals, but as a hair DIYer I was wondering if you'd ever consider doing one of these videos for non professional brands. I'd be super curious to see how lighteners from Ion, Arctic Fox, Bleach London, and even Quick Blue, Splat, etc. would hold up against each other and against the professional brands, especially in terms of hair integrity. Awesome video!!
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I think you will be happy to know that I will be testing the Sally’s brands in the future. I too want to see the difference between consumer brands vs pro. I’m so glad you loved the video 🫶🏽 Thanks for watching!
I might like that Chi for my hair. I am a natural level 6, and my biggest issue with lighteners is how drying they are. I don’t get a lot of damage - just very dry. Which blue/violet lightener does the best at neutralizing brassiness and leaving hair conditioned (I have protein/binder sensitive hair). I only need 3 levels but looking for hydrating and toning at the same time.
Thank you so much for doing these videos! I really appreciate the information and comparisons! I was wondering if you are able to test Trionics bleach. Their line is made with marine-based enzymes, and they claim this is healthier for hair. With so many bond-building bleaches out now, I would like to know if this still holds up.
The thing with goldwell is that 1:2 ratio is a no-no. In this ratio, swelling is present and also does lose the lightening power. The best ratio for it is 1:1.4. Works magic
Interesting, I saw some sort of serum recommendation on the box. But I did want to make this test fair and keep the circumstances the same for all lighteners
The guy tang one surprises me tbh. I love that lightener a ton, but i def use a higher developer for lower levels depending on what service were doing. I use 1:2 because i dont like an overly thick consistency, and i like how what you see is what you get typically. Like lighteners with a super blue pigment are deceptive in the sense it can look light enough, but its not. I also like that it doesnt swell, so you can really saturate a foil without worrying about bleeding. Plus, the lavender smell doesnt hurt lol
LAVENDER! I knew it was floral. The Guy Tang definitely felt nice! I might need to play with it more in different scenarios. Thank you for your incite and for watching 🫶🏽

The guy tang lift me up liquid toner is a must! If you want to play with it more I highly recommend using the lift me up and his TH-cam videos on his lightener launches are super helpful! The oil booster is being repackaged so I am using Brazilian blowout bond oil as a substitute.
Thanks for the effort you put into these video's. Still not sure why you mixed blondme in the other video 1:2.5 yet all others 1:2, but appreciate the video nonetheless
Thanks for watching! The reason why I mixed BlondeMe at a 1:2.5 is because that was manufacturers instructions. Most brands offer three ratios. 1:1 or 1:2 or 1:3 BlondeMe only offered 2 ways to mix. Either 1:1.5 or 1:2.5 So I used the one closest to the mixing ratio that is most common 1:2 which in this case would be 1:2.5 Hope this explanation helps.
Just want to add that the Blondme mixing ratio is actually a ‘variable’ ratio. The recommended is 1:1.5-1:2.5, so 1:2 is included in the recommended mixing ratio but you can go up to 1:2.5! Hope that helps!
@@MirellaManelli totally understand, but obviously it makes it weaker than if it were 1:2 like the others. I don't use blondme I actually prefer the vario bleach in the blue tin but the blondme is very strong, I find it compromises the hair too much x

I used the guy tang big9 on my hair, I was pretty excited to use it because he’s known for taking dark haired clients very light. After I bleached my natural level 2 hair. It only lifted it 4 levels with his 30 volume developer. Big waste on money. Before anyone comes at me saying I might’ve used it wrong I didn’t. I’m also a professional and had virgin hair and the room I was in also wasn’t cold
Can you elaborate? I followed manufacturers instructions on the box inserts and reviewed all instructions online on each brands website. I would like to know what I missed?
I believe like the Oxycur you used in thr first video, its supposed to be 25g powder to 35g developer. The serum isn’t necessary unless you’re using the pearl and beige versions. It protects those toning pigment molecules from being eaten up by the lightener.
I’m confused with the info on Goldwell Silklift. There is no dedicated 40vol. developer in the line, so not sure how off scalp is achieved with that? Also, Silklift has a dedicated serum that you add to the lightener which might affect the lift.
