It's not very difficult. Look it up. You just measure oil rings. There are special tools(armadillo)you can even use to make this easier if you cant use old school equipment like a compass/protractor. Then this will tell you your axis. Layout all depends on what you want so that's subjective. Fit mostly comes down to feel. Axis is the main thing you measure that's unique to each individual bowler
The Electrify Pearl. When the Synergy becomes too much ball for me, and the lanes start to burn up, it lets me stay right and keep my angles closed. Smooth, controllable, and predictable. Since I'm a higher rev player, I always like making sure I have a lower hooking ball in both my tournament and league arsenal. I also like how you touched on that just because a ball is cheaper and lower performance, doesn't mean it's a bad ball. They have a time and place. I see so many people constantly fill their bag with strictly high performance, aggressive balls, that once the lanes start to break down, they have nothing to ball down to. I made the same mistake when I first started bowling a long time ago. Now that I have a much better understanding of the game, it's definitely a must to break up your arsenal. Great review as always!
The best bang for buck ball for me is the original urethane AMF Black Angle. Its been working well for 35 years!! Core. What core? It just has a weight block.
Great comparison Jungo. Have the Hustle INK. Have thought about picking up the Hustle PBR to start with before switching to the INK. Got a Venom Shock instead...
For me, the best bang for your buck ball was/is the Columbia 300 Freeze(I have the orange/green one). I still use it today, bowled my highest set with it (860). I've had it since it came out like 10 years ago.
Morich Mojave. Yep I'm old school. Great video and information on the entry level balls. Video edit suggestion. When you display the ball specs can you add a picture of the core please. Really like watching the videos showing off the versatility of the ball and how it will react from all angles. 👍👍
Best bang for my buck was my storm ice. Throwing plastic doesn't seem practical, but I've really been able to find a way to get it through the pocket well and consistent. I'm a 2 hander.
the rap is mainly for the dryer spots of oil that ill be using say like a beat up lane like i had to bowl on last week, with low oil and more dry i can definitely get my hustle rap to go down the lane but not too far and i could possibly go left and throw right at 4th arrow or something or just play straighter still but the point is the hustle rap can definitely be my go to on the dryer lanes
I am one of the few who does not like the Phaze II. The Idol was my ball of choice. The Hustle PBR has become my favorite house shot ball. I have shot no worse then 672 over the last 5 months in 3 different houses with this ball. My two high series has been 790 and 784. I LOVE this ball.
I would live to see some videos with.030 diff balls on the burn. When athlete is playing in the 4th to 5th arrow range. Keeping the ball more in front of them
Last year I got the Hustle 3TP and on the dry, it rolls great and gives me the same kind of carry and backend reaction as I get with a stronger ball on the fresh. And like you said, the price of the Hustle line of balls is fantastic! Just joined your TH-cam page last week. Great videos and a really nice bowling center. Love to see some 5 pin videos! 😀
I picked up the Hustle RAP for when everyone moves left, I can move right! Not a great ball for game 1 or 2 on fresh oil, but when the lanes break down, it’s money!
I kind of see it differently , i agree about the shiny hustle but that PBR is ridiculously good on medium to light patterns its actually better for me on those and also better at blending wet-dry
The PBR would be a pretty good choice, I have actually drilled a PBR with a 3" pin for one of our buddies that needed something a bit stronger than urethane for short oil. The RAP not so much as it'll be too sharp and therefore unpredictable on short patterns
im looking at the hustles cause for the drier medium oil balls where id like to go straighter would i be looking at the rap or the other? ive got the nuclear cell and the ebonite impact for the heavy and medium to heavy but ill be looking for a ball that i can honestly go all to the right and hook or just throw on the lane that is beat up bad on like tournaments stuff like that.
@@jrproshop okay I'm looking for something doesn't react quickly but has power to definitely come back and is flexible if I have to come to the right and focus on third arrow.
Yea then either of the hustles would be good, just would have to play with the surface, jungo likes the rap a litter better though because of the pearl cover
starting @ about 1:25. "For the PBR, We would expect a similar amount of hook as the Phase2 but quite a little less continuation through the pins, making a few flat tens here and there". BRO. That means you are not achieving the proper entry angle of 6 degrees. Adjust your shot angle.
Hi Im Alex from germany and im in bowling for 42 years. Whats the diffrence between the hustels? There a 3 diffrent covers, pearl, Hybrid and Solid, is there only the color diffrent. Alex
And i'm going to stop you at predictability,i have the Ink and the phaze 2,at the moment both sanded with 3000 for that house shot boom, the Ink is a great step down with the surface i have on it,its both predictable and carries, however i'm up the boards not out and in
@@brandondriley thanks I'll try that the next time I go out on the lane thanks for the advice Brandon Riley another question I had is why does it take off to the far right instead of going through the middle of the pin thanks
@@carolerkila6525 that is a great idea for a ball video but a very tough question for me to answer without watching your ball hit the pins. Could be anything from your ball hitting the pocket on too direct of an angle, to too light of a ball or your ball getting into a roll too early (zenith prefers fresh oil versus dry lanes)
So ive been trying to upgrade my game as an intermediate player. Im a no thumb 1 handed bowler with a speed around 14-16mph unfortunately dont know my rev rate and average 160. I started off with a Brunswick rhino and bought a radical squatch as an upgrade. What ball would you recommend I get next for my arsenal?
Is it safe to assume that when carry down I’d evident that the PBR might read the back end better than the phase 2 in similar carry down scenario? Do I understand that properly?
Thing about the pbr is letting it lane shine and playing it as it was meant to be played: Straighter. PBA tour bowlers are just killing it with the PBR with a little less surface. Edit: Also, favorite bang for the buck was the shooting star and rising star
@@Barksbowling yeah. I'm hanging on to my last GB3 with around 200 games on it. I'm looking to replace it with a Knock Out when that comes out. Please do a review on that ball.
Loved the video. But a video I’d like to see is a video on how to find your layout, pap, all that for both 1 handed and 2 handed bowlers.

Hands down the Hustle line is the best bang for the buck!!!

Why is NO ONE talking about the guy wearing the welding helmet in the background?? 😂😂😂
That's not a helmet it's a speedglass welding shield you poon
Lol
lmao seen that and was like wtf did i just see
The best bang for buck ball for me is the original urethane AMF Black Angle. Its been working well for 35 years!!
Core. What core? It just has a weight block.
The Hustle INK by far! Love that ball.
Same!
Yess!! One of my favorite balls, so damn predictable and smooth. I prefer it over my IQ Tour Solid 🤷♂️
My favorite BFYB Ball is the Hustle camo. It’s so controllable and versatile for a low end ball
Can you do videos on older retired bowling balls if you can even get a hold of any
Thanks for reviewing the HP1 line stuff!
My league bag is crux prime, iq emerald, axiom pearl, and tropical surge. I've thrown good series with each but I threw 818 with the tropical surge
Roto Grip Hustle Ink or Storm Electrify Pearl
Great comparison Jungo. Have the Hustle INK. Have thought about picking up the Hustle PBR to start with before switching to the INK. Got a Venom Shock instead...
I love the hustle pearl. I’ve shot 3 300s with it this year in league🙏🏻 it’s become my benchmark ball.
My Hustle PBR is the best ball for the buck!
The Iq tour solid is the best bang for your buck ball. It isnt exactly a low price ball, but it works on pretty much anything.
hustle ink is amazing, especially with a short pin, mine is a 1 inch pin, its amazing
For me, the best bang for your buck ball was/is the Columbia 300 Freeze(I have the orange/green one). I still use it today, bowled my highest set with it (860). I've had it since it came out like 10 years ago.
Hustle ink for me. I’ve had it for 1/2 a season shot 3 800’s with it. 857, 811, 810
I loved my storm match up pearl

Bang for your buck -> Motiv Venom Recoil.
Small asymmetrical core with a great solid cover.
Always wonder why the pro s don't use low end balls...Great explanation!!! Keep up good work ..guys!!
The Storm Tropical/Tropical Breeze lines were always winners. I've had multiples of each.
The Hustle Ink for me. Great step down after transition.
My first hook ball is the blue rhino. Still have and use that ball. Will probably keep it forever
I'm about to date myself but the first reactive ball I ever got was a Brunswick Monster. Inexpensive but bowled my first 200 with it.
I would live to see some videos with.030 diff balls on the burn. When athlete is playing in the 4th to 5th arrow range. Keeping the ball more in front of them
Fav bang for buck.... old school red titanium messenger. Only Columbia ball I really liked
Not a big fan of storm’s entry-mid balls (but i am a storm lover). I still like Columbia Beast navy color and i want to now try hustles
Pitch Black without a question, got it for $100 bucks and it’s been amazing for me as a lefty

Storm Ice, somewhere around $60 and I use it every game at every bowling center. Most use for such a low price!
Storm Electrify Pearl is my favorite. But i wouldnt say no to the Hustles either.. ;)
Favorite bang for your buck ball? That is very close between a Ebonite Destiny Solid or Seismic Euphoria
Thought I might go with the PBR to go between my Phase II and Electrify Pearl. Going to think again. Ball looks good though.
This was great info, fellas.
Hi
How strong is the Hustle in comparsion To the phaze 2
Alex
Hustle Ink--favorite "low end" ball. Great bang for the buck.
I picked up the Hustle RAP for when everyone moves left, I can move right! Not a great ball for game 1 or 2 on fresh oil, but when the lanes break down, it’s money!
Exactly !
My favorite is counter attack pearl. A great affordable ball.
My Storm Punch Out is still a good ball. My first ball I ever had drilled.
Desert tank all the way for bang for your buck.
Bang for buc ball has to be the IQ tour
Can anyone give advice on when I should the Zenith
Storm All-Road or Storm Electrify Pearl
No
would ether of these balls be a good ball to come down from a idol pro
Yea the pbr would be for sure, might have to take the surface to 4000 though
@@jrproshop alright thanks
I was wondering if Brandon Riley could watch me through my bowling ball for him to see were it takes off on the lane
Hustle Ink hands down, it is definitely a different ball than the other hustles. Cheers!
Can see the layout on the pbr Hustle
65x5x25
Avalanche solid when it was available
I would say a 900 global boost or a tropical breeze
Just a suggestion maybe have premier a little later like maybe by 3 hours making it hard for me to whatch premier
Can you guys review some 900 Global balls now that Storm bought them?
Yep! First one coming soon
Why do some of the older videos have music over the voice now?
Copywrite crap
Can you do rap vs wine video
HUSTLES
But 900 global AFTER BURNERS
Might be the next best thing.
PBR a beast in JUNGO HANDS💪🏾
I kind of see it differently , i agree about the shiny hustle but that PBR is ridiculously good on medium to light patterns its actually better for me on those and also better at blending wet-dry
How would the RBP and the RAP work on shots like cheetah (35') and wolf 32'?
The PBR would be a pretty good choice, I have actually drilled a PBR with a 3" pin for one of our buddies that needed something a bit stronger than urethane for short oil. The RAP not so much as it'll be too sharp and therefore unpredictable on short patterns
The free kind of bowling ball is best. I got a free tidalwave at my local bowling alley.

Probably the rap would be better, the pbr might me a little too strong and early

Honey Badger Claw: $70
Exactly. The honey badger claw is my favorite ball right now
Best bang for your buck would be hammer vibe

My is the Ebonite Destiny Solid. A lot of hook and predictable for 100. To bad it’s discontinued.
The Hustle INK

Whats the diffrence between the hustels?
There a 3 diffrent covers, pearl, Hybrid and Solid, is there only the color diffrent.

Roto grip showoff rolled 268 first time on lanes out the box

Two handed lefty here. I have the Hustle Wine. I bowl pretty straight with the Wine. Phaze II or PBR?
Phaze 2
Hustle PBR vs Honda PBR when?
I work at Riverside lanes. Don't worry I've left that once too 😂😂
We love that house!!

Storm tropical heat hybrid black n silver
What's the song/beat that you start at around the 2:00 mark? Thanks.
Would the Hustle RAP be comparable to the 900 Global Afterburners?
Yep exactly !
The Pyramid pathogen was way more motivated than its price tag would suggest on the lanes.
Is it safe to assume that when carry down I’d evident that the PBR might read the back end better than the phase 2 in similar carry down scenario? Do I understand that properly?
OG Hustle Ink
Older video but best bang for my buck ball i have ever bought was the hustle inc. I shot 300 with it the ball is so good i feel like im stealing haha
I’ve thrown the pbr for months now and I throw it like urethane and i 2 hand
I was wondering can some body watch me some Saturday and have a second pair of eyes for me what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong on the lane
A damn welding helmet, that's damn funny.
Is the PBR same as the All-Road?
We think the all road will be 1-3 boards stronger just like the phaze 2, slightly stronger core and cover on the all road
Lights out and the hybrid tropical heat. Weak core with a strongish cover 😜😊

Hustle AU for sure
Spectre or Futura best bang for the buck.
Who's the guy in the helmet there
