Excel Tip: Dynamic Number format for Millions and Thousands

Nice one. I needed a refresher on the conditional syntax of the Custom number Format. For me I use:
[>=1000000]0.00,, "M";[>=10000]0.00, "k";#,##0.0
Works like a case switch from left to right and returns the first criteria it meets.
Edit: This is gsheet and you can further tailor the decimal place to your liking with 'decrease' or 'increase decimal places' buttons.
