I have recently started a project of taking a 35 year old Fisher Marine 16 foot aluminum bass boat and transforming it into a modern bass rig.
I'm glad to see these videos because I can get ideas on the best upgrades to make.

Very nice. I have a 22 X19 with the 175 and compared to my previous boat man i love this xpress. Think about getting sea deck especially for the summer months cause it might get hot.

Great video man I absolutely love the color scheme on the boat and that textured floor means you won't have to be constantly cleaning carpet and maintaining it way to go man that is one sharp ride👍🔥🔥🐟

What a SWEET boat. Looks great Alex. Love all the storage for your fishing rod and tackle stuff. I prefer not having a deck seat also. If I'm fishing up front then I'm probably not sitting down. Enjoy and I cannot wait to see more videos of you fishing in this boat.
Great looking boat.... u will love the hummingbirds. I have 3 of them on my boat.....the mapping is the best and right on point with buoys on the lakes.

Express boat's are made in my town, definitely a solid boat! And the block on the 200 is the same as the 250 and if flash that motor it will run in the upper 80's, depending upon which flash you do. You go from 200 up to 250 and 250 up to 330
I didn't know that, will have to look into that when I upgrade my boat to an Express.

The grey sea dek on my x19 actually gets hotter than the black bedliner it sits on top of for whatever reason. Its also not dog friendly. Lots of foam tearing up. In my opinion you're not missing much.

I have a new 2021 Xpress H18 17’10 inch boat I’d put it against any boat in its class. The way it rides and fishes is amazing. My next one will be a x21 very very soon tho.

After finishing the video.. 2 questions maybe you can answer. Does it have a keel guard or could one be added? Is the storage water tight?
With that aluminum trailer and no carpet, you could probably take it on the intracoastal for trout and reds.
It does not have one but you can add one. The boxes are not water sealed in anyway but the designs prevents water from getting in. The guy I bought it from said they had it in a driving rain and everything was dry afterwards.
That is my dream boat as well. Congrats on the new rig.

I'm glad you "bought" this boat. Doesn't mean a thing if some company gives you a loaner. I think it keeps you authentic. Very very hard to stay authentic if your becoming a walking billboard for a company

@Rocky Top Splash now kvd, wheeler those guys there may be a couple out there who pay nothing or their sponsors take care of it... but anyone ive talked to, pros, ex elite pros, owners of boat dealership who work with and sponsor pros unless they are lying and a few of them i dont know why they would have any reason to lie.. they get them at cost , make payments for a year and sale them.. they may come out on top but the majority arent given boats
